Beren
Also, Tiote has been really good the last couple of games IMO. I hope you're not serious, bud. That's the rubbish I'd expect from your pal Al. He's been poor when the responsibility to attack has been placed on him (which isn't his fault). In terms of doing his legal destroying/passing, he did fine today and coped well against Yaya last week. An improvement from his early season form which was disastrous, I'll gladly concede. After you get flak from fans it's tough to turn them back around though so I understand why some might still fixate on his shooting etc. He needs to keep going from strength to strength once he returns from suspension. Mick
The crowd didn't want Jonas off either. Bunch of drunken lunatics. I felt Jonas was glad to come off because he was getting really frustrated when things weren't working for him.
Guest neesy111
He owes Shola massively today because he lost a large portion of the crown when he brought Cisse off. Ronaldo
Just what ma dad said. 'What the f*** you doing bringing them two off?' seemed to be the consensus around there. Why? Who wanted him off?
54
What if he took Jonas off not because he was playing shite but so he didn't pick up a suspension and be available for Man Utd.
Dr Venkman
That was utterly fucking dreadful, no improvement at all.
Guest malandro
Goal difference aside we're a win away from the top half. Just shows how tight the league still is. Currently five points. Points are only a reflection of form and to move into the top half our form has to be significantly better than the teams above us to make up five points - and there's no signs that is going to happen anytime soon. We're three points behind 10th place Swansea. If Liverpool win (which they currently are) Swansea drop to 11th and Norwich will be tenth with 25 points. I'm on about right now, not looking into the future. Not sure what your point is. That saying we are one win away from the top half when the teams above us are still playing is jumping the gun, and it also assumes the teams above us are going to lose when we win. matta
We played the ball more today. Would have loved Cabaye and HBA today. Also, we only looked quite dangerous when Obertan used his pace, and Marveaux added ALOT of threath in the middle.

First time I've been at St James' for a while and I was amazed that there was a buzz every time he got the ball as if he was going to beat his man. Are they not watching the games properly man, he can't do that anymore.

We're missing them a lot and this is what happens when you only have 2 dynamic, truly talented players in your squad.

Crowd seemed more up for it today, despite the horrific weather.
Jack Flash
Fluked a 1-0 against the worst team I've seen at SJP in years. Please go.
Mick
Fluked a 1-0 against the worst team I've seen at SJP in years. Please go. Dr Venkman
That was utterly f***ing dreadful, no improvement at all. I think there was, slightly. I didn't see it mate, we look less like a team with every game. We created nothing but the chance for the goal in 90 mins at home to QPR. Even the goal was just bad defending as Shola was suddenly all alone. The evidence against Pardew is mounting up, this Jonas thing is beyond belief. Yorkie
Fluked a 1-0 against the worst team I've seen at SJP in years. Please go. I can't remember when a team came here and looked as bad as QPR, it must have been when we were in the Championship. Bordeaux and QPR this season have been two of the worst opposition i can remember since we got promoted. Absolutely flat as a fart. They look like a team that has just been cobbled together with no real determination, just there for the money. Hughes fucked up massively. Couldn't believe Hoilett was actually on the pitch when i spotted him about an hour in.

littlelunchbox
For those who haven't seen it yet, Pardew post match on Sky. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,16497_8352255,00.html as predicted, blowing his own trumpet, self promoting, oh-look-at-me style interview. Jesus the man that was asking the question said "do you agree that people are saying Newcastle are in a false position in the league with the way they been playing...?" no doubt Pardew agreed WTF, who are these people? Guest bimpy474
Tbf in that vid, he praised Marv for his pass to Shola, praising the slight waiting on it before he passed it.
