Stifler
Annoyed at how unfit we look. This Ramadam shit is pisstake. Yeah, our own fault really. We never played our first team players in Pre-season, at least not for long enough time.
AlanSkÃrare
Hatem, Jonas and Perch have done well. The rest news to step it up considerably.
Guest henrique
Jonas is so important to this team. His workrate is immense.
aussiemag
The whole team is going to take 2 to 3 weeks to click and get going by the looks of it ... lets hope we grow into the game today more and somehow scrape a result
Guest bimpy474
Pards is quite clearly playing 4-4-2 for Ba, it is the only reason. Ridiculous if its the case, the team come first whatever the formation. Prollly waiting for him to get on some scoring run centrally before slotting him back left in the 4-3-3 once he can score from anywhere. He can play in a 3 up top, he doesn't have to play wide, let all three interchange, English teams are so rigid its daft.

Memphis
If everyone was fit, I'd say it's crying out for the 4-2-1-3 thing with Anita coming on for Jonas. But everyone's not fit, so Anita and Gosling will likely be on for Cabaye and Tiote. Good shout about Perch moving up and Willo coming on, too. That could well happen. Dyeyzzon
Cabaye must be on Ramadan. Only 20 mins of preseason, played all games with France in the Euros, extended holiday, etc. It was a joke dude. I know m8. Just saying why he's so unfit. Deuce
Lot of poor-passing so far. HBA, Jonas, Tiote only players looking decent. Cabaye offering nothing. I expect to see Anita in some way, shape, or form in the 2nd half. For his fitness if nothing else. We need a 3rd CB.
McCormick
Not a great half.
Stifler
The whole team is going to take 2 to 3 weeks to click and get going by the looks of it ... lets hope we grow into the game today more and somehow scrape a result The shit thing is though we have some very tough fixtures to the start of the season, we really should have been better pre-pared, Euro's or no Euro's, injuries or no injuries. TRon
We've just brought in a deep lying midfielder who sets up play from the back really well, and so should allow us to set up quite beautifully with Cabaye further forward, and we persist with this? Because Demba wants to play upfront? Unacceptable. Of course Demba wants to play up front, he's a striker. Doesn't mean we have to oblige if two strikers isn't right for certain games though. KaKa
If we're going to play this formation then one of the strikers has to sit deeper more consistently, but none are. The cntral midfielders are miles away from the forwards, and the wingers, who are pushed way out wide most of the time. Result? Punt, punt, punt ... Mole_Toonfan
Apart from the blatent system complaints and they are valid, the main problem today has been the distrubution from the back shows how big of a miss Colo is. We need to be switching to 4-3-3 for today and through out the season and getting a fullback and CB in before the window closes, the weaknesses from last year are still very apparent and being exploited. James
More of a problem with fitness than tactics in my opinion
Shearergol
Ba can't do a great deal when he does sit deep though.

Segun Oluwaniyi
One problem for me is that there is no real pace in this team at all outside of Santon. Our front four are all quite mobile, but none are particularly quick an Ba quite honestly looks slow.

The same team that hasnt played together for 4 months and half of the team is severely short of match sharpness/fitness
Memphis
No one's offering any outlets so whoever drops deep to receive the ball from the defenders typically just has to punt it forward in hope. That's the byproduct of being outnumbered in midfield (and not being able to match the energy they're showing by pressing constantly). Anita would be good if for no other reason than he's fully fit and energetic. That injection alone would do wonders for us.
Away Toon
Tiote's passing from the back is pretty terrible, just give it to Cabaye who has hardly touched the ball and let him do it.
