Guest bimpy474
Any news on when Tiote will be back? If he's out against Everton i would like to see this: Krul Anita - Saylor - Coloccini - Santon Jonas - Bigirimana Ben Arfa - Cabaye - Marveaux Cisse Pardew said he'll be back for Everton
NG32
Was in a noisy pub but did te commentator repeatedly say 'bent has an obsession for scoring goals' several times. Found the comment really amusing I heard him say it once today.
TRC
Just got back, took my Canadian gf for the first time to see a real sport. Really pissed off we didn't win after telling her how awesome our team was and how much she should want to have sex with Cabaye. Thought Anita was class, Bigi grew as the game went on. Probably been covered, but surely Santon RB, Anita LB made more sense. I know we have the same song for Cabaye as we did for Robert, but he reminds me of him with his ability to out play anyone, and some horrendus displays. Jonas, I love the guy but I don't think he's the same player he was, I also wish he would fuck off using the outside of his boot.

Yorkie
I'll be glad to have Cheick back. People can say what they want about his performances and how he hasn't lived up to his first season - but we're better with him in the team, simple as that. TRC
I'd drop Jonas for Bigi. Jonas needs a kick up the arse.

He had more injury niggles and ACoN last season though.
TheHoob
Don't think it was Tioté that was missed today tbf, wasn't as if we were overrun or needed someone to break up their play, we were just shit. Still 1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss is probably what i'd have expected from Chelsea, Spurs and Villa
Guest neesy111
I'd drop Jonas for Bigi. Jonas needs a kick up the arse. Agree about jonas, looked meh for awhile tbh. Something isnt there for him at he moment, can't put my finger on what it is though .
AyeDubbleYoo
We wouldn't be the same team without Jonas, he puts in the shift of about 3 players. In the second half today when everyone was roaming out of position it was always Jonas who was tracking back and covering the spaces. He's a key part of our side IMO, especially with Tiote out. Flip
Jonas needs to play centrally though. Somehow he is better there. He wins so much and covers so much, but cant produce one offensive threat ever.
joeyt
Jonas played well against Spurs when he moved centrally.Think its clear as day he needs to play there in a midfield
Jack Flash
Don't think it was Tioté that was missed today tbf, wasn't as if we were overrun or needed someone to break up their play, we were just s***. I though we were overrun in the midfield in the first half. They worked harder and we had nobody to put their foot in like Tiote would. Jonas took a bit of a Tiote role inn the second half which helped massively.
joeyt
I liked howKevin Friend replaced one of the linesmen at half time and Mark clattenburg became 4th official. Was he just there to watch the match?

littlelunchbox
I'd drop Jonas for Bigi. Jonas needs a kick up the arse. yep im tired of seeing him putting his foot over ball while shielding the opponent from the ball with his body and basically just standing on the spot doing it not moving, Ba was guilty of doing the same thing. if you havent got a team mate to pass to, dribble away from your marker and look for a pass, what they did today was just lazy standing there all macho with their foot over the ball shielding, whilst backing into their marker almost like waiting to get spooned. its fair enough if we were winning and needed to waste some time on the corner flag, dont bloody do it when its 0-0 or 0-1 down ffs. You mean trying to hold the ball up and retain possession until teams mates are available for pass or would you prefer he ran down a dead end and lose the ball in a less macho fashion ? Mole_Toonfan
Jonas is great against big teams on the wing for defensive insurance but he doesn't create anything so against most teams i'd rather see him at CM for games we expect to win. To use an example Ramires for Chelsea is great in their big games but against the smaller teams he's pretty useless. Same with Jonas on the wing against smaller teams. Ashley17
We played as shit as that in a lot of matches last season and won - Fulham (home), Villa (home), Blackburn (away), Norwich (home), Everton (home) to name a few. Sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you don't. What is worrying is that we never start particularly well, our set pieces are absolutely woeful and fullbacks are going down like flies. Ba & Cisse don't look like they've ever met and Ben Arfa is basically playing a free role, the side is massively unbalanced and we don't like particularly fit. Other than that, tickety boo. I think if the option was on he or Ba would do that. Villa were closing us down quickly.
