joeyt
I understand thinking we need Tiote to help us control the games because, to put it kindly, our midfield has been w*** so far this season. But the thought of going through Jan with only Shola/Sammy/Campbell .... At least we have the likes of Bigi and Anita to cover if Tiote goes Youre forgetting our main man http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/13/0/0,,10278~8978451,00.jpg

Miercoles
I can identify with the tenuous connections of team-support... I got into newcastle cuz they were my team of choice in Pro Evo 3... Shearer was my secret weapon against all the cunts who played man-u and madrid. When it comes to the NFL I base my support purely on which cities I hate more than others, I don't have a favorite team but I have four or five that I fucking despise. I'm still trying to sort out an Australian Rules Football team to support, but I will tell you that that shit is one hell of a game. The violence of American Armored Wankball combined with the fluidity of Effeminate European Feet-to-Balls. Pure 200 proof distilled entertainment there. TheHoob
Yeah I suppose i've just almost always picked a team that i'd support in a tournament that England or Newcastle aren't in, and almost always some kind of tenuous link like the one above. Assumed everyone did but guessing not!
Deuce
Who is more important to us? Cisse and Ba or Tiote?? I know we have no forward cover but i'd argue Tiote is more important to us. Obviously Ba and Cisse. Obviously. We control games better when Tiote plays and are poor when he doesn't. We win games when we score goals. We should've picked up Defoe then. Segun Oluwaniyi
From what I can tell, the game will be streaming live on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/africacupofnations It should be a good match, if anyone would like to watch. It is a good initiative by CAF, but it seems just to be the one match. Easy access to Nigeria-Liberia, Zambia-Uganda, Libya-Algeria, etc. would be great. It's funny seeing Egypt as well. They won the whole tournament in 06, 08, and 10, but didn't qualify for 2012 and haven't made the final round of qualification for 2013. It is mad what a minor revolution can do to your football. Ronaldo
Who is more important to us? Cisse and Ba or Tiote?? I know we have no forward cover but i'd argue Tiote is more important to us. Someone, not me, needs to stress what a truly ludicrous post this is. Tiote shouldn't always start; whereas at least one of Cisse and Ba is absolutely mandatory with the rubbish we have in reserve up front.

Segun Oluwaniyi
Massive goal for Senegal. Away goals in Abidjan are not easy to come by. Important result to take back to Senegal if they can keep it 1-0 or 1-1. Quality goal like Was N'Doye, whom we've been linked with before. Cisse chested it down. Pilko
Ivory Coast commit loads of bodies forwards, but when the ball into the box is cleared, there is a gap of about fifty yards between their defence and the midfield who have all gone forwards, meaning Senegal always pick it up. It's irritating, they aren't launching attack after attack because they lose the ball after one poorish delivery.
