Absolutely no chance will the game be replayed, Senegal will have to forfeit the the game and then be severely punished by the African Football Authorities and Fifa as well.

Manchester City brothers Yaya and Kolo Toure were in the Ivory Coast team - and the Premier League side said in a statement: "City's Yaya and Kolo Toure are both safe after crowd trouble halted play as Senegal hosted the Ivory Coast in Dakar."

From The BBC.

Well, that's nice.  I suppose they didn't realise we had three players playing in that game.

Why would Man City comment on our players?

Probably read it the same way as I did originally as "a premier league statement".
