Ikon
Don't understand why people put Cisse on the left in a 4-3-3. He played wide-right against Bordeaux and did well. Bordeaux, canny team that night..They were awful.
Lenny
Positives are that Cisse, Anita and Saylor are massive upgrades on Shola, Williamson and Simpson. Also there are some weaknesses in their side, mainly Jones who is an abysmal goalkeeper. Agree on Cisse and Taylor, but at the moment, it's a bit of a bold statement to say Anita is a massive upgrade on Simpson at RB.
Guest BooBoo
Simpson not even on the bench. Don't really get this attitude. Simpson has done a job this season., there's a lot of assumption that Anita will automatically be better.

Disco
Should start Ben Arfa against Wisdom IMO, he looked out of his depth against Everton and was struggling badly against Pienaar/Baines before he got howked.

I hope you're right, but I like how you pick our 2 goalscorers to be someone that's never scored for us before and someone that's only managed to score with his back so far this season

Backs off his player constantly and shows them onto their stronger foot. Id hate to be the kit man at the club as well. Because there would be some serious shit stains to clean off the lads shorts at the end of the game. Never seen a fullback shit themselves and hoof the ball forward as quick as our Simmo when in possession.

Cronky
Good to see Anita there. Against a side with little aerial threat, there's no need to pick Simpson. Disappointed to see us persist with Ba-Cisse though.
Pilko
People saying Sky would be guessing; they managed to correctly predict that incredibly weird setup from the Norwich home game last season where we started with Gutierrez at LB, Perch in midfield and Cabaye on the left. Fingers crossed they're right this time too.
Chris_R
We've got a decent collection of players, but the test as ever is what formation Pardew decides to assemble them in. I worry that following the recent Ba/Pardew interviews, Pardew is pandering to Ba and playing him centrally come hell or high water. There's no way Cisse can play out wide, so we'll see 4-4-2 again with the wingers yet again on the wrong wings so they're unable to get early balls into the box, and have to stall our attacks and check back inside every single time. Hope I'm wrong and we go 4-3-3 with Ba out left, but I'm worried that Pardew is obsessing over keeping Ba happy at the cost of everything else. Ikon
We'll start well in the first 5min and score an early goal, before we start showing too much respect (for whatever reason) and sit back. Then lose 3-1, one deflected goal and one penalty and a Gerrard strike from outside of the penalty area. Something like that.. Still something like this im afraid Can only watch the 1st half as well Come on! Smash them.
