Miercoles
I hope when MYM plays if he isn't amazing straight away this thread doesn't go completely Centre backs can generally take time to settle at a new club, even more so in a new league with a struggling side. All that said I do think he should be in the side immediately, any growing pains will be worth it in the long term. You know for a fact it will. Aye, Debuchy and Anita are testaments to that. The debuchy hate on here was ridiculous. People wanting Simpson back ffs. For me its a dream come true having two full backs who can actually play the ball... Willow
Pards better have the balls to throw him in, will be very disappointed if he doesn't start. Taylor can chill a bit longer.

hoppaz
I say start him if he has great pace and recovery. Our fullbacks are getting exposed and beaten so these defensive attributes are better than those that Taylor provides. He may well help stop some of the goals we concede so our "3 in last 6" striker can hopefully win us the game.

Would be really handy having a CB with his attributes, for covering purposes, as we have full backs that get forward more.
Away Toon
He might start but as a defensive midfielder, which is where Montpellier were playing him a lot this season. Should be better than Perch there so why not?
aussiemag
He looked a bit lost there to me. You can tell hes a natural predator of a centre half .. snuffing out chances and playing the ball out with ease.
AyeDubbleYoo
I really hope we just put him in at CB.
Kanj
Pards has said he's either CB or RB, and that he was brought on as DM for that situation we were in alone.

Hanshithispantz
So when do we start him then? I'm guessing he was signed with the belief that he was going to be our number 1 centre back alongside Colo or Taylor. Are we just waiting on Taylor to get injured or score a few own goals? It reminds me of the Taylor/Santon situation.
Hanshithispantz
Chris Samba thrown straight into the QPR side, surprisingly enough.
Guest firetotheworks
Probably when Taylor inevitably gets injured in the next 14 seconds.
Smal
He's not going to start until the Metalist game, is he?
Flip
Chris Samba thrown straight into the QPR side, surprisingly enough. And played well. MBiwa has won the French league and played in the CL, there is no reason why Pardew should hesitate playing him. Especially with him probably having a better communication with Debuch than Saylor, and I bet Colo doesn't understand a word of what Saylor says anyways. aussiemag
Chris Samba thrown straight into the QPR side, surprisingly enough. He knows the league though. Pardews not willing to risk sending Mbiwa to the wolves. I can see him playing Europa League.
Dave
He'll be in the team soon enough if he's as good as everyone is making out.
