Flip
Incredibly I think we look more solid without him. At the moment I like him better as a fullback. If everyone's fit he might be a bench player, but somehow I think we might actually be better with him as a fullback and then push either Debuchy or Santon higher up the field. arnonel
I think debuchy could also be "solid" if he also just ran backwards the whole time. Jarvis had a field day.
Ronaldo
Simpson's an awful footballer but he knows what to expect from certain players and usually concerns himself with just defending.
healthyaddiction
I think the return of Coloccini had more to do with our improved defence. And Jarvis had a good game against Simpson and got a lot of decent crosses in. I don't think Simpson was bad but I believe we would have been just as solid with Debuchy personally. Gallowgate Toon
Kudos to this lad. After that horror show vs. Liverpool he's put in 2 good performances at full back. Lovely bit of skill today as well, keep it up Mapou!

SiLvOR
I think he's looked better at fullback so far. He'll be great for us though, no doubt about it.

Guest icemanblue
Had Walcott in his back pocket all game. Loved seeing him showing him inside, only to nick it from him every time. Very intelligent defending. Used his strength and pace so intelligently.

TherealnorthernTOON
For a defender with his technique he really is sloppy making easy passes at times.
Guest bimpy474
Looks a better player at full back. Either side as well.
Cajun
Looks a better player at full back. Either side as well. Think he's still settling, I reckon he'll be class at CB eventually.

Oh aye same here, i think it's easier for him to settle in a full back in our league, like you said

Tooj
I wish Colo wasn't going as those two together would be fantastic.
Ronaldo
They have the same weaknesses. We need to abandon this sentimental bullocks and find a CB pairing that doesn't get bullied by crap like Rodellega and Graham, doesn't get injured every 8 games, doesn't ask to leave the club that pays them a fucking fortune, and scores the odd goal. Tooj
What sentimental bollocks? Yanga-Mbiwa will be more than able to cope with the physical demands of the Premier League once he's fully settled.
