HT: some decent football, a fantastic goal, could have been more had Cisse been in form. Keep it up lads.

A very good half by our standards this season. These are abysmal, we need to ram home our superiority.

Williamson has actually tried to keep the ball on the deck.

Feek sorry for Cisse, he's arguably taken his chances well. No excusing the atrocious positioning early in the half when Shola wanted to play him in and he just stood offside, that was lower Sunday league level stuff.

Shock Horror, lost the plot after scoring..worrying.

Wonder if defending the 1-0 is intentional by Pardew, if so hes f***ing barmy.

It is crazy how badly we switch off and revert to sucking up pressure. Maybe fair play if we were 3-0 up and had anyone with pace to make a break.

Does Ameobi get worse?

Good half and surprisingly we look better when we pass the ball and move into space rather than Krul or Willow hoofing it everytime and losing possession.

Cabaye makes such a difference, just gives everyone more confidence to pass it.

Fair play to the midfield for coming short and giving the defenders people to pass to, not much hoofing except a couple from Willo.

Just a shame we didn't get another goal, but let's keep the pressure on second half.

Good half.

Need to balance being careful of there counter-attack with keeping our foot on the pedal. Don't want to concede a soft goal on the counter-attack but equally don't want to invite them on to us.

Cisse has been unlucky, if he hadnt caught either so cleanly he would have scored. No excuse for his offsides mind.
