Who would you go for?

A young, ambitious, ultra attack minded European with an expensive suit and nice hair who only plays Total Football. Preferably with a track record of managerial success in the lower divisions of Holland, Spain or Germany. Possesses an affinity for Sports Direct and a real desire to manage loanees and cut price French signings. Appreciates the rewarding challenge of selling his best players for a profit at least once a season.

A managerial/coaching equivalent of Cabaye looking to put themselves in the shop window for a move to a bigger club ??

Tim Sherwood anyone?

A cunt replacing a cunt? Ashley would love that purely because he'll know it would piss us off.

(And no, Sherwood can fuck off...we'll take Sir Les).

I don't know if it's been posted here but there's a Luke Edwards article in the Telegraph which reckons that Ashley wants Moyes or Bruce to replace Pardew if he decides to sack him at the end of the season. We supposedly tried to get him before Pardew (don't believe it) and Ashley likes both of them. I can see us going for Moyes tbh, if only because there's no compensation involved and he's used to working with a stingey owner. Bruce would probably be more up for it though.

It will never happen, but I'd like to see the club parachute Red Bull Salzburg's coaching structure in.They're doing some interesting things, following Dortmund's path:

I expect it will be Moyes or Pulis succeeding Pardew, if Pardew is sacked, because Ashley will play it safe rather than take a risk out of ambition.
