Hughesy
As usual, I refer you to the guy in my avatar. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/mar/17/rayo-vallecano-all-or-nothing-approach-sid-lowe Him or Tuchel would be amazing. arnonel
Id hope for Moyes. Not spectacular, but feel like we would be in safe/capable hands
Ste
Moyes is dreamland stuff. Would be a fantastic appointment but too many reasons why it wouldn't happen.
Guest Howaythetoon
Fuck managers like David Moyes, I want someone proactive, rather than reactive. I want someone inspiring. Someone with a vision and dreams. Give me a Martinez over a Moyes, a Monk over a Hughes etc. Moyes is a very competent manager, but he is simply the manager Pardew dreams of being. He is essentially the same as Pardew, same ideals, same beliefs, same methods, same game plan etc. Only Moyes is good at what he does and Pardew useless. kaotikuk
Laudrup, moyes or pulis for me... pulis would be boring but at least hed steady the ship and get some hard working players in, plus he wouldnt bow down to ashley at every hurdle like pardew does. Wullie
Hiddink isn't working ? Netherlands boss isn't he?
NG32
We'll not get any of those, Pulis could have a choice of jobs, Moyes wouldn'ttouch us as he has had his fingers burnt recently...Laudrop would not come here. Its going to be an internal hiring as its cheap. This decision will no doubt relegate the club.
Wullie
Pulis man. Our fans need to gather some self respect.

mrmojorisin75
Hiddink isn't working ? Netherlands boss isn't he? Thought that was a list of available managers, wasn't paying that much attention. Pity, love Hiddink.
Mattoon
I think the poll needs resetting in the current circumstances and with other names in the hat. Agree with you Wullie, times are desperate and the anyone but Pardew feeling is in it's highest reign, but now it looks like when rather than if we should consider more carefully. Pulis would invariably do a better job, but wouldn't last long with his inability to work with Ashley's constraints and the football would only be a better type of turgid. I could accept Bruce at a push because he'd be better than any of Ashley's lackeys but really think we should be looking abroad.
Kanj
I want a manager who played wonderful attacking football; who won't be a defeatist fucking shit monger

I think abroad should come in the summer, I have serious reservations about a new manager from a different country coming in to manage a squad this fragile. Wullie
It would suit Ashley's intentions far more to hire a foreign coach. The old argument of "he's never hired a foreign coach" doesn't really wash given that we weren't shopping solely abroad when this mug came in and now we do. Graham Carr's unlikely to be voting for giving Remy Cabella to Tony Pulis (not that Pulis would take the job anyway, the idea is laughable).

NG32
I think a change to anyone (not an intrenal promotion) is needed just to keep the team in the league.

Stifler
Patrick Kluivert for the lols He's better than Pardew, don't see any reason why he shouldn't be given a chance considering some of the other options.
Guest Alyosha
Anyone remember this? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-owner-mike-ashley-keen-1982261
Dokko
A foreign coach willing to work with what he's given but trusted to have input is what we need. If that is found and one who plays good football then Ashley's setup will be a working model for him and for us.
