Was it just the move to Chelsea that took all the confidence out of him or was it injuries? He'd been poor the last year there hadn't he? He has been poor for about 3 years now, tbh. It isn't a "blip" he's going through, I just genuinely think he's a poor striker for the level he's playing at. However, it doesn't help when ever he misses a chance the commentator will say "Urgh!! The OLD Torres would of scored that!". Badly needs a move back to Spain, imo. His days in England are done.
