BillClinton
is that really a good result though, surely they'd have a better chance at beating Chelsea next round.

Unbelievable
is that really a good result though, surely they'd have a better chance at beating Chelsea next round. Any result where Ajax are at the receiving end of a loss is a good result as far as I am concerned.

Village Idiot
Watching Rubin - Atlético was so weird. Since Rubin play their European games in Moscow the stadium was empty (reported attendance was 1600), and it had all the feel of a closed-doors friendly. Will it be the same when you play Anji over there?

Will it be the same when you play Anji over there? Did you see Fener vs Bate? Was infront of an empty stadium, so when Christian scored the penalty he was kind of waving to the director box only

Only their European ones because it is deemed unsafe by UEFA to play them in Anzi's home city.

Neil
Brilliant goal in the Basque derby by Ibai. Looks a good player. Edit: Sociedad look set to win 3-1 (at Bilbao). Brilliant win for them and they continue to go from strength to strength, joint 5th with this win and in with a shout of CL qualification. Bilbao on the other hand are in real danger of being relegated. 6 points above the bottom 3 (with a game extra played) but they're far too close for comfort. The squad should still be comfortably top half and pushing for Europe as far as I can see but Bielsa's got a right job on his hands.
TaylorJ_01
Some pretty grim matches, none stick out at all. Arsenal will struggle boringly but still win, as will Man U. The rest of the matches look extra boring. Will probably watch Man U vs QPR in the hope that QPR get rimmed.
