S.S.R.
He puts in a terrific cross. Nobody's taking advantage. I'd have him over Jonas.

Dave
Who do west ham have next? http://i.imgur.com/DAYmGpt.png Pretty tough. Still think they've already done enough like. It's looking like two from Villa, Wigan and Reading.
Ashley17
Could lose their next 3 looking at that. Lovely.

SiLvOR
Wow, can't see them getting many more points tbh. They'll probably stay up due to the incompetence of other teams like.
Mike
Wigan will never get relegated, either.
Guest fraser
In his pre-match chat Gary Neville said that no team six or more points above the relegation zone after 27 games has ever been relegated from the Premier League. His words, 'It just doesn't happen.'

Guest fraser
Was there any evidence to back it up? No. I've checked Statto and it seems to hold true except Sheffield Utd last time they went down. I haven't been meticulous though.
Dave
I had a look the other day; only twice in the last ten seasons have you actually needed as many as 40 points to stay up. Average to be fourth bottom is only 36/37 points. Villa/Wigan are currently on course for about 34 points. A win and two draws will probably see West Ham safe. Ikon
I said a couple of months ago that i thought West Ham would be one of the relegated sides. Or at least could.

No. I've checked Statto and it seems to hold true except Sheffield Utd last time they went down. I haven't been meticulous though. I've now checked since the PL went to 20 teams and apart from Sheffield Utd who were 7 points clear, it's true.
Conjo
He puts in a terrific cross. Nobody's taking advantage. I'd have him over Jonas. I think the Norwegian commentator today mentioned that he had put in 200 crosses this season, and zero assists. Now, IDK if that is true or if I misheard, but he does put in a lot of crosses each game, and you would think that at least one of those would have smashed into Cole or Carrolls face and into the net if they were of any quality. I´d still have him over Jonas ability wise as he is good at relieving pressure when he takes the ball and runs with it, much like Jonas used to. None of them would start in my preferred line up though.
ponsaelius
It is fairly hilarious that that they bought Jarvis to cross and Carroll to head them in and it hasn't happened once. I mean it's not as if another club tried exactly the same simplistic nonsense the season before to the same result or anything...
Guest
Are there any signs that Marseille want to keep Barton? Could possibly see Fat Sam try for him again in the summer.
Hughesy
This might be regarded as somewhat insensitive, but is there any particular reason why West Ham were commemorating the 20th anniversary of Bobby Moore's death? Do they do it every 10 years? Do any other clubs do the same thing for the deaths of their legends?

AlanSkÃrare
I think QPR, Reading and Villa/Wigan will go down. Will be interesting to see how Villa get on in their next few games. Wigan usually find their feet sometime soon.
LRD
Are there any signs that Marseille want to keep Barton? Could possibly see Fat Sam try for him again in the summer. Didn't the porn magnates indicate they didn't want Barton last summer? “We didn’t sign El Hadji Diouf because the manager listened to the supporters. We discussed Barton last summer and Sam [Hammers boss Sam Allardyce] said he didn’t want the player. So it would doubly not happen now. “Dont forget, there wasn’t a queue of clubs to take him anyway. So I actually believe they will have to pay a club to take Joey Barton. They won’t get a transfer fee. "I think they will struggle to give him away.” "@Joey7Barton You must find a way to control this anger. I urge you to seek help before you self destruct." Shame for Jarvis, looked decent on his premiership debut season, been steadily downhill since then, though I've not seen much of him at wham he's hardly been making headlines.
