Guest neesy111
I'm sure there was a good player in there, but he didn't look like he fancied English football one bit. Cabella didn't relish it much either, but at least he gave it a good go. Thauvin got clattered a couple of times in one game and thought - fuck that, let's get back to France. Getting booed by your own fans didn't help! What a lowda wet. Well, you've got be a fucking arsehole to go to an away game to boo one of your own players who was struggling with confidence. I agree, but if I remember rightly we were losing a match and this pillock was flopping about all over the shop and wasting time. If he can't handle a bit of stick he's best off staying in the Ligue 1.
St1pe
Watched the French highlights - just the goals mostly - more or less every week this season and he's heavily involved in everything at Marseille. He always looked like he had the ability but he blatantly didn't want to know after the first couple of games here. I'm not surpised Rafa said he wanted him at Napoli. Like others have pointed out he said on numerous occasions as we were trying to buy him that he didn't want to leave. Hopefully it has been a lesson to the hierarchy in future dealings. NEEJ
He's had far worse from the Marseille fans, to be fair.
Altamullan
Would anybody have him back? No. Felt bad about letting him go. Seemed like we didn't give him a fair chance/the support needed. But, no.
Guest
Quotes from Rafa in The Chronicle a day or two ago saying he wanted him to stay but had his heart on returning to France. Said he considered taking him to Napoli so he clearly rates him. Just seems best for all parties he goes and we forget he happened.

Interesting stuff, Ajay's thought Rafa binned him off a little quickly, turns out he didn't. Good. Wonder what happened with Saivet
mighty__mag
Have we sold him or not? I thought it was agreed, mate says hes only on loan. Just called to France squad.
John P
Obligation to buy would suggest he's a goner, as even if it's a 'play a certain number of games' clause he's been first choice for them. Can't remember who reported the obligation part mind.

sempuki
He's obviously not coming back. He never wanted to come in the first place so it's better if he stays with Marseille.

Think with his form and their new owner we could had got more for him amazingly.
Fenham Mag
Carr should be sacked for this debacle.
Kanj
Still shocked we sent all these fools out on loan with appearance obligations to buy. On this form he's worth double I'm sure what the agreed fee was set for.
AyeDubbleYoo
Carr should be sacked for this debacle. Seems pretty innocuous given we've managed to get him out and get our money back.

To me, it is the epitome of his signings and shows his methods are floored. A player who is obviously very talented but just cannot adapt his game to the Premier League - same as Cabella. That should have came across if the scouting was good enough.

St1pe
Carr should be sacked? Give over man! His job is to find quality players. Thauvin has got obvious quality. It hasn't worked out for him here because he didn't want to play for us and we threw money at him to get him here. Unsurpsingly he's showing his quality in an environment he wants to be in. The transfer has been a disaster for a number of reasons but you certainly can't blame the scout for that.

Guest neesy111
The defence people give Carr is terrible. He's one of the big reasons we got relegated, signed players for his own personal good imo, look at how many players went through the same agency in France.
