Willow
From the above link.. After rumours about a possible departure of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to Newcastle published today in several media, AS Saint-Etienne wishes to clarify that the player, his agent and club officials have declined by mutual agreement all proposals that have been submitted so far. Recognizing the importance of the challenges facing the ASSE until the end of the season, Pierre Aubameyang Emercik has always shown a desire to complete the sports project at the expense of financial aspects. The ASSE can only praise the state of mind of their player.
Village Idiot
I think Ashley forgot to set up his DoF correctly in Footie Man.
TaylorJ_01
Fair enough. Don't want to annoy them, just gan back in summer.
sempuki
It could all change if we raise the price. Money talks.

BONTEMPI
Think we must get another striker in this window as an injury to Cisse would see us back at square one. Expect one more people.

sempuki
This would surely be our best ever transfer window if this came off. Probably still is if he doesn't come. Maybe we could offer one of our underused Frenchies (thinking Obertan) in this one?
Ikon
Will we go back with an higher offer? Yes, i think so. No way that our first offer is the highest we're prepared to go, or? Unless we've been told that he wont leave no matter what.
Ash
Fair play to the lad really, can't knock him for wanting to see the season out. Sign him in the summer.
Corrigan
Fantastic news that the club are still going for a goalscorer. The reading loss has potentially been a God send and a proverbial kick up the arse
Dave
Fair play to the lad really, can't knock him for wanting to see the season out. Sign him in the summer. This. If we do better in the rest of the season and our new players settle in well it'll only strengthen our hand then too.

Ikon
Can't see this happen either. But no matter what happens with this or any other potential signing there will at least be some excitement for the rest of the transfer window as we've gone loco and you can never say never that we wont sign more players even though it's unlikely, this bid confirms it. That said, im over the moon with our dealing in this window, absolutely delighted. Anything else would just be another massive bonus.

Mole_Toonfan
So we haven't got a Ba replacement yet then, very interesting. Aye Gouffran was never going to be Ba's replacement, too many reasons to name why he wouldn't be.
