Their goal was comically bad, just rubbish but we looked a bit ropy whenever they came at us and that needs to change. Ironically, we need to do a little more out-of-possession shape work on the training pitch, as we look very comfortable going forward. It was just one of those days really, you win some you lose some, things just didn't quite fall our way. No mass blame to anyone, we deserved a result but that's not how the sport works. Don't think it's that bad a reflection. They played well at times but Cabaye's corners and Gouffran's miss played a crucial role in us not winning the game. We were well on top for the prior five minutes and that single incident was just what they needed to slow things down, get their shape back and get going again. The second half was good but Marveaux should have came on to inject some life into the side but other than that we really did nothing wrong. Pardew is proving he can manage us at least.
