Questions to put to Pardew

- Alan, what do you say to the players at half time and what do you hope to achieve?

- How do you expect to win games when you are more concerned with what Wigan, Reading etc can do to us rather than what we can do to them?

- What do Shola and Jonas have on you?

I don't even know where to begin with questions.

1. Do you believe that mentioning tiredness before matches has a negative psychological effect on players and gives them a ready-made excuse for before putting in poor performances?

2. Last season is often cited by you in comparison to this one in terms of injuries and extra games. Last season we deservedly finished 5th, you won manager of the year. If that season is more indicative of your talent, why this season did we never once play the forward three of Ben Arfa ® Cisse © Ba (L) with Cabaye in more attacking role when they were all fit and it had worked so well last season? Injuries were not a factor here.

3. We are the number one long ball team in the league. Is this a conscious decision by you and do you think it suits our players?

4. Why do you cite Europe and injuries as a problem yet play fringe players in Europe and regularly substitute Gouffran, who generally performs well and works extremely hard?

5. You regularly mention shape when it comes to how we need to play yet we have a very poor defensive record and it has seemed much more apparent right from the start of the season that when we have the ball we have a fundamental problem with movement and support play. What's your take on that?

I'll think of more later.

That's got better not worse, since January there are 14 Prem teams who play the long ball, on average per game, more than us.

Alan, we are a team with aspirations of being in Europe every season. You have said this season, that being in Europe has had a hugely detrimental effect on us and also that you don't have enough time to prepare for each game as a result. Would you agree there is a problem here?

6. Why do you continue to rely upon Shola Ameobi in order to change a game? We have more experience of him than most and this very, very rarely happens. We've heard for the last 10 years that he's invincible in training, it means nothing.

7. Rather than saying that our fitness needs to be looked at, what actual action is being taken?

8. Why do we look to contain lesser teams and allow them to impose their style on us whilst we look for 'moments' or just relying on the quality of our players rather than imposing our style upon them and having faith in the quality of an attacking approach? There are meant to be no easy games in this league, yet we seem to forget that we are a part of that rule and make things easier for the opposition by just accepting it.

Good one. I imagine he'll say things need to be looked at by UEFA and then say tge usual "we can't compete with the squad depth of the top whatever."

Then get some more players in ya aaaarse!

Edit: Buy some more players, that is. Not put more players in your arse.

Also; why, instead of moaning about injuries, have you not developed a tactical system that our entire squad understands and carries out, to the extent that replacements (injuries and bans are inevitable, albeit not as frequent as this year) can step in and do a competent job?

Good one.

Nearly every manager in the league said they were jealous of the additions we made in January too.

Well they might get a chance to sign some of them as Pards is looking for taller players who can win some headers at set pieces.

4-4-2 or 4-4-3 formation ? That doesn't matter ffs , why have they put him in charge in the first place , what did he acheive in his career as manager and a footballer too , how can he thinks that Cabaye is quaterback , how can he compare Ben arfa to Suarez ? He doesn't know anything about build-up passing , he doesn't understand the tempo of a football match. About our formation, look how close too each other our centerbacks are when he have the possesion , how often Cabaye is forced to do a lay-off pass when he receive the ball from our CB's , he doesn't get any support , there is no combination , players stick to their positions . Sometimes I watch teams like Bilbao, Lille, Sociedad,Swansea , I don't think they have a better squad than we do , but they simply are managed by a  better coach .

Pardew football knowledge is extremely poor , he could have the best management skills in the world that wouldn't change a thing , he 's an horrible poor coach.

What's your question?

"What is 6 x 4?"

Just to check he isn't functionally retarded. Passing that I would just generally want to know that, should he unfortunately still be in charge next season, will he at least attempt to give the squad some kind of identity on a football pitch? Preferably a one where the players look like they actually train and play together.

Not that I would care for his answer, mind.

Alan, why do you get our GK to hoof (sorry play) the ball into the opposition area whenever we get a free kick anywhere near the halfway line. This tactic has never worked on the previous 460 occasions, why do you persist with it when you have complete and unequivocal proof that it doesn't.

Alan, this question can be used for all corners and indirect free kicks, please explain why in two years you have come up with absolutely nothing else.

There's already a thread for that.
