Newcastle manager Alan Pardew believes Cheick Tiote was only guilty of a "misunderstanding" after avoiding jail for possession of a fake driving licence. The 27-year-old midfielder was handed a seven-month suspended sentence at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday after he admitted buying a fake Belgian licence for £12,800 and then attempting to swap it for a full UK licence. Mind you just think of who he would buy if it was his decisions, like some of those managers were able to. Obertan and Elliot .....but to be fair Ba was a Pardew pick.
