Watching the Shearer episode of Premier League legends. Said he took his kids to school early so he could get to Gullit first.

It was end of August, they'd have been on their holidays. Systematic of the lying culture within the club.

Someone mentioned the Feyenoord game in another thread so I had to watch it. Stumbled across this video of Shearer talking about SBR and thought it was nice:

I miss them both and the old, real, Newcastle United  :weep:

Fuck, that's hard to watch. Compare that to the shite we've got today man, it's absolutely tragic.

I've just been looking about on the Toffs website. Theirs some interesting stuff on there in the sale, Shearer t-shirts, Beardsley ones, and an NUFC black and white shirt amongst everything else.

I didn't realise it but they have classic shirts in children sizes which is decent for those who don't want any Wonga shit or to put money in Ashley's pockets.

What the fuck, Fenerbahce's team bus was attacked by a bloke with a shotgun today when they were on their way away to Riazpor.  All the windows got bricked in aswell.

Turks love taking it to a new level like.

There's a video of darius vassell arriving at a Turkish club (fenerbahce I think) and absolutely shitting it as they mob him and there's guns going off

Yeah, it's just awful. Just got a feeling of helplessness, suppressed anger and apathy nowadays :(

Was just saying this to the old man today, Ashley wouldn't last 5 minutes at a Turkish, Serbian or even Italian club. They'd have his house torched and his family kidnapped and that'd be that. The way the beautiful game was intended.

We should try to recruit some Turks to support NUFC.

Was it Turkish fans who walked in on a press conference unveiling the clubs new manager and escorted him out and told him to piss off?

I have a feeling that we need those fans soon.

I'd like to have a 95-96 shirt, they were class. I've got one now but the print on the back (name and number) is fucking sunday league-quality :(

We needed that a long time ago. The approach needed now involves careful planning and reliable automatic weapons.

With the match and hanging like a bastard, I really didn't expect a laugh today.

Was thinking about former really shit players we have had and came across this.

Glenn Roeder is checking a Norwich player into rehab after he was arrested for drink driving in his underwear.

The Canaries boss is set to act after ex-Newcastle midfielder Matty Pattison, nicknamed Party, was stopped on Sunday morning. Mirror Sport understands Pattison visited a nightclub on Saturday night after the Championship side's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield United.

And on Sunday, apparently still drunk, Pattison allegedly woke up and jumped into his car believing he was late for training.

There was no training scheduled for that day. But wearing just his pants, a T-shirt and no shoes, Pattison began driving to the club's Colney training ground.

Fucking hell.  :spit:  :
