Yorkie
"I think the Newcastle manager would have been sacked by most fans after a month of the season but now he is flavour of the month." Mmm, Pards taste gurd.
Cajun
Fair play for the honesty I suppose but I would be well pissed off if we came out with stuff like that about a player we are going to heavily rely on, if he ever gets fit...
Varadi
"Even now we haven't got a date that he could be back. He could be back in three weeks, he could be back in six or eight weeks." Sounds ominous for the lad....
LFEE
Sound ominous for us also... We play them in a months time...

Dokko
Well buy him back for £7m next summer when they go down.

Hanshithispantz
He's a quality centre forward, regardless of his recent injury record and we'll be playing Shola Ameobi up front for the remainder of the season. Proper fucking hilarious like.
Chase
I can't help but see it as West Ham being morons "I'd not have bought an injury prone player if I knew he would be injured"
Dokko
I hope not. If fit he'd be excellent in this team, I can see why you wouldn't want that. If we could get rid of Cisse and bring him in for next to no cost we'd be cooking with gas.
Skirge
We won't go back in for him, as much as Pards likes him it won't happen.
Hanshithispantz
He'd be class for us imo. A broken toe is a bit different to a recurring muscle injury too, it's just bad luck.

Just another in a long line of injuries though, the only attraction would be if he was cheap, the money we got for him them buying him back cheap would excite Ashley. Still can't see us going in for him though.
ponsaelius
People still talking about bringing him back He's a crock, move on.
STM
Unless he plays for 3 seasons 30+ games we should steer well clear.
Hughesy
Which he never will - he's injury prone and a crock basically.
Hanshithispantz
Played near 50 in his 2nd season for Liverpool. He's had a couple of long term injuries, he's not necessarily a crock like. He might be like.

He might be like. He is like. This will carry on throughout his career. If we had of spent £15 million on him we'd be fucking fuming.

ponsaelius
The way he plays is going to mean he keeps getting injuries if he's as susceptible to them as he has shown so far. He was injured when we sold him and he's lurched in and out of fitness ever since. Even when he's played the soundbites from his manager's have been 'getting back to full fitness', 'not quite at it yet'. Not worth the gamble. His lifestyle is not good for a top athlete either. Alright when you're a young lad scoring every week, not when you're a multi-million pound asset somebody has invested in and you're not playing. Theregulars
I hate Ashley but getting £35m for this goon was an incredible effort. Made all the sweeter by it being dalglish and Liverpool who paid it
