Belfast Mags
When we have Mike Ashley and JFK they somehow manage to be more of a mess. Really does take some doing that When you think about that, it's actually incredible
Pixelphish
It's just a state of balance, it's the natural order of things. Consider it a sign of the end times if they're ever in better shape than us.
Ashley17
Has any team ever stayed up with 1 point after 8 games? I know Harry likes to paint it that Spurs were on minus 6 after 15 games when he took over but they had more than one point I think?
Benwell Lad
Maybe PDC wasn't that bad after all and it's the players who are totally shit. Pooyet looks like a rabbit trapped in he headlights already.

There was a graphic on MOTD earlier, there's been 3 occasions in the PL when a team has had 1pt after 8 games and on 2 of those the team was relegated - I forget which team and season it was though when they stayed up. Guest bimpy474
Werent portsmouth in serious trouble one season? Redknap saved them in the end Not in the long term, rarely mentioned but his splashing of mental cash is one of the reasons they are where they are today. (not all his fault of course tbf). Oakie Doke
He's saved every club at some point or another. Then he sacrificed himself for our sins.
Guest Haris Vuckic
One delightful aspect of this discussion is that the mackems dont have Harry Redknapp. They have Gus Poyet
Benwell Lad
So, are the drunks back in charge of the dressing room down there after PDC's failed attempt to flush them out ?
Godot
They complained about MoNg putting 10 men behind the ball every game but he looks vindicated in doing it really judging by their defensive performances now
cp40
So, are the drunks back in charge of the dressing room down there after PDC's failed attempt to flush them out ? Aye- looks like dicanio tried to challenge the couldnt give a fuck workless attitude at the club- the lazy fuckers didnt like and cried to short , who suicidaly backed them. The fun goes on.......... BrettNUFC
Getting a head of ourselves again I think Yup. People confidently predicting a win last year and we got dicked. I will take a point as I always would in a derby tbh You'd take a point for every derby?
Benwell Lad
Despite them being in total disarray, us looking like we're in quite decent shape and our players being so much better than theirs, I will gladly sign up to the "happy with a point" brigade. joeyt
Thankfully we don't have Benfica three days before this like last year so should be in a lot better shape
