cp40
does Gus sound a bit defeated, resigned to thier fate in his interviews?
Stifler
Even a draw against Norwich would be it for them in my opinion.
cp40
Even a draw against Norwich would be it for them in my opinion. Norwich are scoring goals . I get the feeling any team can shut Sunderland out now if they apply themselves- thats gonna be very difficult for them.
Disco
Was at their home game v Norwich, it'll be some effort to be a poorer quality game than that but I think they've got it in them.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
I deeply hope they go down mind, fuck the derbies our manager bottles them anyway, the only pleasure we can get at their expensive would be to see them plummet.

Any one's guess really, if good Norwich turn up then they should beat Sunderland, if bad Norwich and good Sunderland turn up then Sunderland can easily win it. It's not a match I would want to predict.
midds
Still quite a few winnable games for them, they're hardly cut adrift, two daft wins moves them up 4 or 5 places. Also wouldn't rule out a shock win in one of their tough away games either. They'll stay up by a few points imo.
Varadi
6 wins all season. 2 of them against us. If they do stay up it's all our fault.
midds
6 wins all season. 2 of them against us. If they do stay up it's all our fault. In seasons like this the FA should introduce a new rule to relegate 5 clubs. The amount of pigshit in the bottom half of the league is ridiculous, get shot of 5 of the fuckers ffs. Stifler
You could say that any year though. The teams down there at the end of the season are there because they are shit, be that because of a lack of quality, injuries, inconsistency, or a mix of all 3. Disco
Gap is only going to get bigger between the PL and the Championship you'd imagine with the massive TV money hike.
Stifler
Gap is only going to get bigger between the PL and the Championship you'd imagine with the massive TV money hike. Possibly, but you could argue that the Championship clubs will get better because of the money given to them through unused parachute payments. Then again this argument has been said with every increase in revenue yet clubs still come up and do well.

Benwell Lad
Is Poyet still the second coming? Did he really throw the chance to play a third division team for a guaranteed place in Europe, in order to get a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace ? The College Dropout
Borini's just their Shola isn't he? Scores against the biggest rivals but little else?
bowlingcrofty
Scores in cup finals vs no league goal since 2012. I don't rate Borini highly but to lower him to Shola's level is nonsense
loki679
I watched an Asda bag floating around the North stand for about 10 minutes,it kept me from jumping on the pitch and kicking Larsson's nuts up in to his throat.
Wullie
So glad we never bought him, Larsson. I've seen death row prisoners with more moral right to an existence than that cunt.

Maybe it's him flapping his arms about so much that's causing all the litter to blow on the pitch.
