Benwell Lad
So the indignant and sanctimonious Pooyet is demanding an apology from the referee while at the same time implying that he's less likely to get one because he's a foreigner. Fine, but in a sport where cheating and conning refs has become the norm and his team expert at it, can we expect him to offer a similar apology next time one of his players cheats, or attempts to maim an opposition player and gets away with it. TK-421
On Total Sport last night, Gabbiadini was obviously very defensive of Brown, and both he and Anderson said the red card was a joke. However, there was a text came in (from a Newcastle supporter, I think) saying that yes, it was a mistake, but bad decisions even themselves out over a season, and this was a bad decision that went against them, whereas they got away with the Larsson tackle against Man City. Gabbiadini (and Anderson) reckoned that was wrong becasue there was nothing in the tackle Larsson did. Talk about biased/blinkered??!!
Guest The_Optimistic
I'm glad that they are still whining about the red card because it is distracting them from the bigger issue that they are just shit, let them moan.
Klaus
They were already 1-0 down before the red card anyway. Their last away win must have been fucking ages ago, like they wouldn't have went on to lose either way .

Disco
We could quite easily put a nail in their relegation coffin when they come up here. I can't stomach another loss to them tbh. Just like last season
Wallsendmag
They've ducked a couple of blatant ones. Larssons was a complete disgrace. I couldn't care less about t being the wrong decision (if that's what people think) f*** them This 100%. I didn't see them all up in arms when Larsson should have walked against Man City. They've got an awful team and are trying to hide behind refereeing decisions for the position they find themselves in. People forget they were already losing at 11 v 11. Crystal Palace had a player harshly sent off at 0-0 and went on to win the game.
Guest firetotheworks
Both are wrong decisions though. It's the whole two wrongs, one right thing. Both decisions in isolation are shockingly bad and either could have gone against us (as the opposition with the Larsson 'tackle' and as the team with the Brown 'red card challenge')

They're absolutely hopeless and have been for generations, but people keep voting them in and doing fuck all about it. Shitty bargain shops, fast food/takeaways everywhere, awful bars/nightclubs and you simply can't miss a Greggs as there's about 1500 in the city center. I had to live in Sunderland for studies on/off for a few years and it's such a depressing town (and I've lived in Middlesbrough for a year). It's seriously about 30 years behind the times, but everyone here knows this of course.

Particularly enjoyed this comment Shitsville, (sunderland) = 15% decent people, socialise and shop etc in Newcastle & Durham! The other 85% hang about the village eating pasties, and packing out the pound shops and our flagship shop Primani, and are Mong alongs and unfortunately they are the facts.
