Fenham Mag
In other words the cunt has finally sobered up, had a wash and is in a semi-respectable state to conduct a professional meeting? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4814612/Radio-sensation-super-tramp-gets-makeover.html
Barnes23
Kinnear's utter buffoonery will have done us a favour if we miss out on this c***.
Kanj
What is nuts to me is Caulkin's twitter stream and what he felt AP would play him at...the no10, which he apparently played at Charlton.
Willow
relax guys, we have the best director of football out there, he just needs a little more time joe's got this

TRon
Almost like JFK and his fellow board members don't want to buy him... We'd obviously prefer Gomis or Remy. This is just us keeping all the balls in the air for as long as possible IMO if we miss out on those two.

Guest bimpy474
George Caulkin @CaulkinTheTimes 2h @tfeditor1892 Pardew would play him as No10 - he did it for him at Charlton. But, yes, ffc put 2nd bid in today, so NUFC playing catch- up... Really hope that is utter shit I mentioned Pardew doing a while back if he signed Bent
toontownman
So Gomis, Remy the two strikers bent our new midfield powerhouse.

Really hope that is utter s*** I mentioned Pardew doing a while back if he signed Bent It strikes me as the sort of shit he would pull. I'm really really hoping that its not the case though. I said it before that Pardew playing Bent as a number 10 would mean direct stuff, i can't see how you could play through him, he's never a play making number 10 that's for sure. It's a tactic of flick on's etc. Just a horrible thought.
Ronaldo
Flick ons from whom? As stupid as Pardew is, signing Bent would surely help us move away from that type of rubbish.
TRon
I don't really understand the logic in this latest development. It seems to me we've only really moved on this now that Fulham have increased their bid to closer to £6m if you believe Caulkin. Fine if he is the player we really want, but if we want Gomis, wouldn't it make more sense just to pay the extra and sign him instead?
Dave
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-transfers-darren-bents-move-2104934 Joe Kinnear hopes to finally end Newcastle’s transfer nightmare when he holds talks with Darren Bent. Kinnear, the Magpies’ new director of football, is set to meet the Aston Villa striker’s representatives on Wednesday in a bid to thrash out a move to Tyneside. While what you put makes sense, just think about who our manager is. Shola RW, Cisse RW, hoofball to Cisse etc. Is it so far fetched ?.
Dave
If Cisse is staying we don't need Bent. Assuming we get others..
Pilko
I'm pretty much 50/50 between 'let's just get him and end the transfer hoodoo' and my other overwhelming urge of 'he's fucking shit + unsuited please god no'

Guest bimpy474
If Cisse is staying we don't need Bent. Assuming we get others.. Yep, if we get Gomis and Remy. I think we are aiming at 2 out of the 3. I was thinking earlier about some saying JFK is holding up this and that. I think the big mouth prat has found out it's not as easy as he thinks it is. I'm certain he can't wait to get a player signed, so he can run his mouth off about how great he is.

Mole_Toonfan
If Cisse is staying we don't need Bent. Assuming we get others.. He's just a back up plan to everything it seems. Cisse goes.... get Bent, Gomis doesn't come.... get Bent. You would think we would get back ups which are similar to the primary target, but alas not. I have to admit i do think Pardew is going to give keeping the ball and playing better a go, my worry would be if we lose a few games he'll return to percentage stuff.
