Mr. Snrub
Zlatan applauding Cristiano after he completed his hat trick. What an absolute legend.
Froggy
I thought it was more him trying to motivate his teammates. Legend either way.
Robbo
He's one of those players who people will talk about not in the very top echelon of players like Maradona, Pele etc, but the one below with the likes of Zidane etc. as absolutely ridiculous at certain things. Goals like his overhead kick against England will get talked about for decades, folklore stuff.

Flip
For Gerlden Ballon shortlist I'd probs go: 1. Neymar 2. Jo 3. Anderson 4. Fred 5. Bebeto /Flip For Gerlden Ballon shortlist I'd probs go: 1. Ronaldo 2. Messi 3. Ribery 4. Ibrahimovic 5. Neymar I'd switch Messi and Ronaldo, and would pretty much put Suarez up there before Neymar based purely on ability at the moment, but I guess the fact that he's been suspended and all for a while probably doesn't make him look very good. Zidane won everything possible as well as being the worlds best three times.

Village Idiot
Zlatan is a guy that certainly won't get the recognition he would deserve for his levels of ability alone.
Flip
Zlatan is a guy that certainly won't get the recognition he would deserve for his levels of ability alone. What more recognition than being considered in the same bracket as Zidane or being his nations best of all time can he get? He is a great player, but he's also never been the best in his generation. He's a class striker and will go down as one of the best number 9s of all time, but he's still not in the same bracket as the best of all times. The College Dropout
He's one of those players who people will talk about not in the very top echelon of players like Maradona, Pele etc, but the one below with the likes of Zidane etc. as absolutely ridiculous at certain things. Goals like his overhead kick against England will get talked about for decades, folklore stuff. Disagree. Most football fans talk Maradona, Zidane, Cruyff in the same bracket if they've seen them play. Even in my own lifetime. Zlatan doesn't break into the top bracket for me. Zidane, Messi, Ronaldo, Cronaldo. IMO Zlatan's in the Ronaldinho, Rivaldo bracket for me.

Ronaldinho would have been the better one I agree. My bad guys
The College Dropout
A more under appreciated player would be Totti. Who a lot of people would have behind Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and probably Zlatan too.

Flip
So Ronaldinho who won the World Cup, Champions League and Copa Libertadores and was named the best player in the world twice is in the same bracket as Zlatan? Rivaldo as well? Get the fuck out of here Zlatan is in the bracket of the excellent players we've had in this game, such as Laudrup, Hugo Sanchez, Eusebio, but he's not in the top echelon with Messi, Pele, Garrincha or Maradona or even in the next with Cruyff, Zidane, Ronaldo, CRonaldo, Zico. Ronaldo
A more under appreciated player would be Totti. Who a lot of people would have behind Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and probably Zlatan too. Well, yeah, because he was never as good as that lot during their prime.

I like how it has become cool to hate on Belgium now Has it? I was just making a dick-ish comment. Think it's fair to say people got carried away simply because it's a new team. Still, get it together and they'll be a major force next summer, hope they live up to their potential. Maybe Euro 2016 will be their real hour? Flip
A more under appreciated player would be Totti. Who a lot of people would have behind Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and probably Zlatan too. Well, yeah, because he was never as good as that lot during their prime. I prefer Totti to Rivaldo certainly, but it's difficult to compare them well as they played such different roles. 230 goals in 543 games is good for the role he plays. And he's still doing it this season. I rate totti extremely highly. Someone who will dictate a game, which sets the very best players apart IMO Totti about Rivaldo? The same Rivaldo who was the best player in a Brazilian side that won the World Cup and who was voted best player in the world at one occasion? Totti and Del Piero were both excellent excellent footballers, footballers I've grown up with and loved to watch, but Rivaldo was a step above, won't say a whole level if you understand what I mean, but he was a better player and won everything you can win as a player in Europe.
