Really? There were at least three occasions where he was deeper than everyone else and playing them onside, one moment where it almost cost us. His distribution was as poor as ever. It was the system that made us look comfortable in general.

Sooner he's back playing LB for us the better - hopefully he starts this weekend.

He still is very odd with the ball, but I'd rather count on him tackling and marking which he'll get more comfortable with, being out for so long.

Was one towards the end where he let the ball run across him to his left and then ran backwards a bit to set up a hoofed ball that we didn't win  he could have just trapped it and played the ball with his left to left wing or same area too...

It's to be expected because we've been used to it for 3 years not just because of his injury.

The hoofing yes but I don't think he would have let Aguero in behind for that chance if he was up to speed. Was better than Mbemba on the other side IMO

Been good defensively. He's as he always was on the ball

Aye, no issue with what he did defensively.

Opposite are RB where yedlin is decent going forward but pretty poor at defending.

Is being able to pass the ball to a team mate who's further than 15-20 yards away not part of being good defensively? How the f***ing hell is he any good defensively when every ball he tries down the line is blocked, intercepted, breaks down an attack and we have to defend yet a f***ing gain? Gets away with murder this bloke.
