Foluwashola
I absolutely refuse to accept that. These are always bollocks like. Remember Sol Campbell was supposed to be one of the fastest but the fat freak moved like someone with rickets.
Guest
He's shown to be decent defensively many times, both at left back and in the centre. Some people will always have the agenda of wanting their left backs to be in the mould of Marcelo, which PD will certainly never be. Erm no, many of us would prefer a fullback who doesn't wilt like a flower with pressure on. He's terrible on the ball and it costs us, regardless of how decent he might be at sticking a timely foot in. He's not a PL-quality fullback.
Kanj
Hope EA have read seen that photo and Dummett gets 90 pace on the next FIFA16 update Sissoko ran 21.93 mph apparently last year and the kernt still on like 82 top speed.
mozy
We exist in a league where the likes of Craig Dawson and Phil Bardsley are regular starters at full back, Danny Simpson is about to win the league ffs. Dummett's habit of giving the ball away costs us much less than Janmaat constantly losing his man at the far post, or Haidara simply always being out of position. There are very few full backs outside the top 6 adept both defensively and going forward. Dummett is an average lower half full back. We need better but he gets some daft stick. triggs
Quick attacking players barely ever get the chance in a game to be able to sprint flat out for a decent period of time. The longest sprint players will do in most games is defenders and midfielders running flat out towards their own goal stopping a counter attack. If Sissoko and Dummett for example had a 100m sprint I'm fairly certain Sissoko would win with a good bit to spare

Good point, but im sick of debating who is more crap. Who costs us more, Janamaat or Dummet. Would love to start debating who is more awesome, and none of them are. They are all shit
U2
"Fastest player "top speed stats are misleading as there are very few circumstances where a player will be running flat out on a football pitch for a length of time enough to hit their top speed. There will be loads of players that could have easily made that list given the right circumstances in a game.

Dummett's habit of giving the ball away costs us much less than Janmaat constantly losing his man at the far post, or Haidara simply always being out of position. This this this. He could easily have cost us against Liverpool, he was not simply giving the ball away. They got in behind him over 5 times atleast. Darlow pulled off a save from Navas there a week earlier & he was destroyed by a simple dummy in the same game. He's not costing us because others are saving his bacon in some of these games. Other games he looks more assured & tends to get it behind for a corner. Its hardly consistant though.
Darth Crooks
The run to the halfway line to pass back to the CB or colback drives me spare. Just concedes ground every time.

Heron
We've been a better defensive unit since he has returned, that's for sure...
Figures 1-0 Football
He's crap, but he's also our best LB. Discussing Mbabu is irrelevant when he seems to be made out of hair gel, like Aarons, Marveaux etc.
Ronaldo
Quality once again and we're unbeaten since he returned from injury after losing pretty much every game without him. Poor footballer but he makes our defence much better. The vitriol needs to piss off.
STM
Totally agree. Defenders should defend first and Dummett does it very well.
Bimpy474
Totally agree. Defenders should defend first and Dummett does it very well. That's the problem and why he gets stick, he offers nothing going forward. Right now i'll take the good defender to be honest.
Mick
He's the best we've got in his position, I hope he's on the bench next season as he'll be good enough as backup.
