Cisse's a poor outlet - he's not particularly quick, fairly weak with his back to the goal and relatively static outside of the box. Hernandez, as prolific as he is inside of the box, is fast and can work the channels in a way that Cisse doesn't. He'd be a pretty significant upgrade imo. Aye, competitive squad etc etc etc, I get it - but Cisse can't be fucked with the bench. He'd be useless as a third or fourth choice imo. Obviously we won't sign either of those players, but the point is I'd be keen to move Cisse along if circumstances allowed, because he's just totally unreliable. He's a confidence player who needs to be the main man, and needs chances on a plate. Like I say, he's just unreliable and I can't see any real point of having him warming the bench every week. I just think that given the desperate plight we're in i'd take almost any half decent striker, even for giving the club and fans a lift. Balance issue's to one side, saying you wouldn't take Hernandez right now coz we've got Cisse is to me madness. I like Cisse, his goals have gotten this club outta the shit more than once, but he's injured lots and his discipline is shocking tbh.
