aussiemag
Lasogga and Lazazette would be nice. Cant see them happening though. We will get Carlton Cole and Jonathon Walters.
Guest Roger Kint
Lasogga and Lazazette would be nice. Cant see them happening though. We will get Carlton Cole and Jonathon Walters. The fact loads on twitter genuinely believe we will sign S de jong & Lazazette shows that our fans are seriously stupid Talking up to £25m on two players there...... Guest Roger Kint
Oh and why are the Chron bigging up our recent scouting of Switzerland by highlighing two players based in Germany for the past 18 months at least? Neither of which we will be able to get! Surely they could have took 10 minutes to look at the squad for those based in that country before such a pointless article? Might as well have suggested Xherdan as well
Darth Crooks
This looks set to be the worst window to date in my opinion a lot of wasted potential going for a song and Ashely's indifference to quality being at an all time high. Yet people (not referring to forumites particularly btw) still hold this notion that there is a warchest for 'Pards' to spend and that they are actually bothered to get quality in. Don't know if its blinkers, talented liars or both; I just don't get where people muster this enthusiasm or energy to chase targets we have no hope or desire to pursue. Interpolic
They'll buy one player for around £10m and spend another £5m-10m on cheapies. Probs get rid of a few more as well. Pards will praise Ashley for dipping his hand in his pocket and say he's happy with the squad, until we start losing games.
Stuy_O
Think De Jong is the most likely out of that lot as he actively wants away and probs won't cost as much as the others. The links to Lacazette and Bony are utterly laughable.
AlanSkÃrare
Seems like £6.5m is the new £8m, which replaced the previous standard offer of £10m about a year ago.
Interpolic
The Bony link's hilarious like, the thought of us paying twice the price for a player whose fee we deemed too much 12 months ago cracks me up.

Memphis
Every transfer article just reads so ridiculously. Mentions of a "transfer kitty" are equally laughable. I feel bad for the journalists who have to fill up space with the nonsense but every one of these pieces should be thrown in a pile and burned. Nothing to write about until someone's at SJP holding up the shirt. Anything else is pointless.
KaKa
It's the same thing every year. They definitely get hits on their websites from these articles, and so it will always be this way.
