Guest Haris Vuckic
I love Berbatov but can't help but feel he's turned into a match of the day player. He's played too deep at Fulham this season & he's looked a bit of a waste.
Cajun
Ince and a Gomis type and I'd be very happy Me too, especially as they would probably cost £10m at most for the pair.
Dokko
Ince and a Gomis type and I'd be very happy Me too, especially as they would probably cost £10m at most for the pair. Probably a lot less than that.
Cronky
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/dimitar-berbatov-transfer-newcastle-become-2928363? well this seems likely.......................... Wouldn't want him, not a chance we would sign a player in his twilight, next... I'd take the chance, I just wouldn't be able to resist it. When he's motivated, he's a brilliant player and our club has always had a place in his affection so that might just make the difference. We don't have a lot of subtlety in the final third, and he'd provide that.
Mole_Toonfan
Meh f*ck it..... even if he is unmotivated he's still a million times better than Shola and Cisse strolling around the pitch.
Pata
I would rather have someone like Ashley Young than Berbatov Rather no one than Ashley Young. The biggest cunt in the football for me, don't know what to think if we signed him after all the hate through the years.
Yorkie
I'd be sick in my mouth if we signed Ashley Young. I would like a winger, mind. We need a much better version of Obertan/a more orthodox version of Ben Arfa off the bench. We honestly might as well sell them two, Marveaux n all. The latter two just aren't suited to Pardew and Gabi's just wank.

The biggest c*** in the football for me, don't know what to think if we signed him after all the hate through the years. He is one of the worst for diving in the league, probably worse than what drogba and ronaldo were, fair play to Moyes for bollocking him rather than defending him. basjen
"they have one more domestic loan signing, which is right up Ashley’s street" Isn't this (supposedly) opposite of what's up Ashley's street? Thought he didn't like loans in general.

healthyaddiction
The entire article is a train wreck. There's one point where they say all players are available for the right price and the next sentence they're saying that Cisse is among a group of players who would be available for the right price. It's just crap.

S.S.R.
Ashley spends £5 million upgrading the textures on his training ground plan.
KaKa
We will sign players in January like we always do. It's when we shop.
Stuy_O
We will sign players in January like we always do. It's when we shop. Not if we're not immediately threatened with relegation. Thats the only scenario that will force Ashley to buy.
basjen
Got Cissé in January, and we were not threatened then. I would be happy with a similar investment this window
Stuy_O
The Cisse deal and the 9million that went on him was a one off. I think everyone was massively surprised when we got him and lots has /hasnt happened since then.
basjen
The Cissé deal was surprising at the time, but it's not impossible that we sign someone if we see value for money. I agree that it is unlikely, though. In the event of us spending real money on a striker I would expect it to be on Remy.
Cajun
"The lack of spending in the summer suggests there could be a kitty of around £5million" Clubs like us throwing around silly money are ruining the game!
Stuy_O
Aye hopefully at least getting Remy suggests a little willingness to do the right thing. Seen absolutely non of that lately.
