I love Berbatov but can't help but feel he's turned into a match of the day player.

He's played too deep at Fulham this season & he's looked a bit of a waste.

Wouldn't want him, not a chance we would sign a player in his twilight, next...

I'd take the chance, I just wouldn't be able to resist it.

When he's motivated, he's a brilliant player and our club has always had a place in his affection so that might just make the difference.

We don't have a lot of subtlety in the final third, and he'd provide that.

I would rather have someone like Ashley Young than Berbatov

:scared: Rather no one than Ashley Young. The biggest cunt in the football for me, don't know what to think if we signed him after all the hate through the years.

I'd be sick in my mouth if we signed Ashley Young.

I would like a winger, mind. We need a much better version of Obertan/a more orthodox version of Ben Arfa off the bench. We honestly might as well sell them two, Marveaux n all. The latter two just aren't suited to Pardew and Gabi's just wank.

He is one of the worst for diving in the league, probably worse than what drogba and ronaldo were, fair play to Moyes for bollocking him rather than defending him.

"they have one more domestic loan signing, which is right up Ashley’s street"

Isn't this (supposedly) opposite of what's up Ashley's street? Thought he didn't like loans in general.

I guess if Ashley had a street it would be called "Cheapo street".

Nah, he would've "sold" the name. Sports Direct Avenue.

The Cissé deal was surprising at the time, but it's not impossible that we sign someone if we see value for money. I agree that it is unlikely, though. In the event of us spending real money on a striker I would expect it to be on Remy.
