Thought we were 'oversubscribed' with widemen?

He does fit the African heritage, French speaking, under 27, 1 year left of deal criteria mind.

And our 'No Fret' attitude to football

Exactly right and I know it is, but the term work rate now just brings to mind players that can run around more, jump higher and put a tackle in.  That is the only work rate our c*** wants in the team.

You shouldn't. Rayo's football was always about pressing up the pitch and harassing the opponent to launch a counter close to their goal; workrate is an offensive trait too.

Work rate in Pardew-speak means running backwards not forwards. Get off this board and take your offensive work rate nonsense with you

New news is old

Graeme Bailey ‏@GraemeBailey  3m

Alexandre Lacazette and Loic Remy are both very much still in Newcastle's thinking this week. They will push until Sept 1st for new striker.

Was too hard getting them over the line, now we're giving birth to them.
