NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Didn't someone else want Viduka?

Was just thinking. Most of the players we've signed the last 2-3 years you hardly ever see heavily linked or on the verge of signing for another English club, then us beating them to the player, like we were beaten for say, Remy by QPR & Alli by Spurs.

Depends who you can ship out as well really. We can only have 25 and we've still got the likes of Tiote and Obertan on the books, plus Darlow & Lascelles to add in.

GK: Krul, Darlow, Elliot

RB: Janmaat

LB: Dummett, Haidara,

CB: Lascelles, Williamson, Taylor, Colo

CM: Tiote, Colback, Sissoko, De Jong, Anita

Wings: Cabella, Gouffran, Obertan, Aarons, Sammy?

Forwards: Cisse, Perez, Riviere

That's 23 already and assumes Abeid is leaving. Maybe a couple less if Aarons and Lascelles qualify as being under 21 and here long enough, too lazy to check. Assuming Armstrong is one of these.

Taylor and Williamson need to be sold. Shot

From what I remember the story that went around was that Marveaux failed his Liverpool medical.  Which Marveaux denied, Liverpool's doctor also denied it.  Can't remember any more specifics but if they wanted him initially and he passed his medical then why did they turn him down?  Can't remember it ever being cleared up (?)

the story i found seemed to based on what pardew said as well, so literally anything else could have happened

Bamford spent the second half of the 2013-14 season playing under McClaren at the Ipro Stadium, and while he scored eight goals during his time with the Rams, he was frustrated at regularly appearing in a wide midfield position rather than as a central striker.

Thought the same. Less odious than Pards though.

Don't want Bamford on loan.  Permanently yes, haven't seen much of him myself but he seems to be highly rated.  But we shouldn't be borrowing players from other Premier League clubs.
