Dinho lad
Palace would do a lot worse than the Sheff Wed manager.
afar
Clubs that sack a lot of managers are papering over cracks, I think we like to overestimate how much most managers can do, there are a lot of other factors, out of control player power and a chairmen who will listen to them over their manager is big, and if no manager stays long it's clear there may be a more pressing disease. The thing is Palace ahve a lot of other things going for them, but they churn through the managers. Their squad on paper isn't completely terrible. It's not that great a squad either, it's got a few big names, like Benteke, Cabaye, Townsend and Zaha, but there is a lot of garbage there too although Loftus-Creek on loan is a excellent addition. Enough for Hodgson to do what he does though and they'll be comfortable this season in the end like last year. He's 70 years old though so again they'll probably be looking for a new manager soon. Nobody
I actually really like Woy, but it's a massive risk of an appointment IMO. Ridiculous sacking as well, obviously, but I guess Parish just wanted to go back to the PFM.

joeyt
They've nearly worn out all of the PFMs now with Big Sam, Holloway, Pards, Pulis and Warnock in recent years. Surprised they don't go for Pearson

Nobody
They obviously wouldn't, but they really should throw a bunch of money at Potter at Östersund and see if he'd leave Europa League for Premier League.
Hanshithispantz
There's deffinitely evidence to suggest he isn't the manager he was, but I cannot see how anyone would be 'bewildered' by anyine thinking he could be solid like. Bruce was supposedly going to be solid at Villa and I was laughed at for suggesting that he'd fail there, so I'll take it with a pinch of salt. Hodgson is crap and has been for some time, it's not that difficult to come to the conclusion that a failing, ageing PFM might struggle to adapt after not managing a club side for 5 years. Pretty sure you also said Brighton's squad was shit like half way through last season so I don't think your record is as golden as you're trying to claim. 'Might' being the key word their though, he might be shit, you're right. Let's not go overboard.

In Parish' mind, aye pretty much because he's English is why he is a safer bet. He's not on the same PFM level that joeyt mentioned like.

Not sure why that is relevant, even if I did, and I never said my record was perfect either but carry on. there, their and they're Only time will tell on this one, but sacking a manager 4 games into his reign and replacing him with Roy Hodgson is a terrible move.
