TRC
They sacked him as they were unsure on his future? Why didn't they let him get poached then instead of paying him off.
Beren
Won them their only ever trophy and sacked less than a season later after a massive injury crisis. Bonkers.

jdckelly
Get the f*** out of here. What are Swansea expecting ffs To be honest their situation is similar to ours last season, what with being in Europe and struggling in the league, and we all anted Pardew out. Granted the standard of football isn't comparable, but they are genuinely at risk of relegation, having spent a fair bit of money (something Pardew wasn't allowed to do). this, I think what will have been the tipping point was 30 mins odd vs 10 man West Ham and never even remotely threaten their goal. Premature perhaps but there's been stories saying he wasn't well liked by the players from day one, now when you get results those complaints seem minor and irrelevant when you don't they become deafening

Si
Ashley has to be considering it. Wouldn't be any surprise if he didn't even know who he is. We'd end up with Nicki Lauda.

Why didn't they let him get poached then instead of paying him off. they want someone who is actually focused on the job he is in right now instead of focused on whatever job he's planning on trying for next? Guest bimpy474
Stupid move by Swansea, I can't see any logic in it all. From what been said, Laudrup was unhappy with the transfer dealing and intended to leave at the end of the season. The club feel if that's so then they'll change manager now. Could backfire as they seem to be appointing Monk for the forseeable future.
LFEE
Expected better sense from Swansea... Hasn't Michu missed large parts of the season also and they are still in two cups?...

He's been unlucky with injuries though, but I guess after spending a fair amount that's not really an excuse. I'd have him here for sure though.
