ponsaelius
Hughton had an untarnished record here. Best win percentage in NUFC's history. Cannit take it away from him.
Cajun
A shite manager who did a brilliant job at 2 of his 3 clubs. I know, I know, he had a fantastic squad at Newcastle and that made the Championship very easy that he barely needed to come to work. Just like Harry Redknapp at QPR. The College Dropout
Bottom 8 have all sacked their manager this season. Shows how overly important the PL coin is these days. Holloway quit. No pressure from fans or board to do so either.

How many seasons was he in charge? How many were these in the championship?

How many seasons was he in charge? How many were these in the championship? So what? His job here he did it more or less as well as was physically possible. Regardless of your opinion on his ability as a manager.
Tiresias
He stabilized and brought back up this absolute clown-show of a club and should be commended for it.
littlelunchbox
At least we were looking to attack under Hughton. Nonsense. Dunno how we got those 100 points in the Championship like. Come on man championship doesn't count, the squad he had were no world beaters but they were still head and shoulders above the rest of the league's horrible teams. The College Dropout
Did a good job at Newcastle. Did a good job at Birmingham. Has done poorly at Norwich. Some of his transfers have been horrible at Norwich and I think Norwich could do more with Fer & Redmond. I think we'll see him back in the PL but probably via the Champo. Some people are trying pretty hard mind. Bit sad innit. We have had enough inept cunts to whinge about over the years rather than bend over backwards to try and put down a decent bloke who did a very good job. Come on man championship doesn't count, the squad he had were no world beaters but they were still head and shoulders above the rest of the league's horrible teams. Wham & QPR have gone down with similarly strong squads and had to go up via play-offs (most likely scenario with QPR if they do come up). West Ham even spent 4 million on a Premiership player. Yorkie
Really disappointed for him. He is hugely responsible for us turning relegation into a generally positive thing for the club.
Guest bimpy474
WTF is going on in here Hughton was great for us say 99% Hughton was shit and was/is as bad as Pardew say 1%. Just about sums it up tbh.

midds
Remember Hughton playing it ridiculously conservative away to Leicester in our promotion season. They went a man down early on and would he fuck go for it despite the man advantage and we ended up drawing it. Was furious at the time.

Interpolic
We were attacking at home in the Championship, certainly. Beat Villa 6-0 and the mackems 5-1 in his first few months as a PL manager, in the days before we stopped attacking and shut up shop when 1 or 2 goals clear. thomas
Feel like there's some rose tinted glasses being worn here; accepting the reality of his abilities as a manger doesn't actually diminish his time here.
