IIRC, it's quite an antiquated view of football that will automatically impose a glass ceiling on him. Are there any English managers working today who don't share this viewpoint to some extent? Not sure rate is the word, just think he’s a bang average manager. He's not the worlds worst like people make out. He's very fortunate to be in the job he is and he'll never get a job as big as this again though i fancy him now to be around a lower level PL club once he's left here, and that’s imo his limit. He was a decent player mind, if nothing special, and although Blackburn had Shearer, they were a very good all-rounded side to be fair. They were not a one man man team in any shape or form. Man Utd had the better individuals and more flair and pace, but Blackburn were the better team, set up better and played to their strengths more.
