The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Vitor Pereira to Wolves

Recommended Posts

Thing with Burnley is they've given Kompany so much control over the players he's brought in that it's going to be difficult for any new manager

Nearly every player is some sort of Man City or Belgian link. They may have been good enough for the Championship but to continue the same strategy into the Prem always seemed a huge risk

QPR sack that Jesus thing

Aye, kind of looked like he was saying farewell at full time. Not all him, as there was Critchley or someone before him, but their record this past 24 months has been diabolical.

Warnock stating Palace job in 2007 is his last  he just can't bring himself to pack in, can he?

Since then he's been at

QPR

Leeds

Palace again

QPR again (caretaker)

Rotherham

Cardiff

Middlesbrough

Huddersfield

(and supposedly now QPR yet again )

I know opinions are mixed but he's probably the most successful manager in England outside of the Premier League of all time. 8 promotions and almost as many successful survival jobs. Long live Colin.

We are almost into November and there hasn't been a PL manager sacked yet. When was the last time it took this long? Fairly sure it happens quite early in recent seasons.

2018–19 Premier League Season when Fulham sacked Slaviša Jokanović on 14th November.

Interesting, Bristol City fans are raging with their board for sacking Pearson. Think i naively thought Pearson might have been a bit of a dinosaur at that level but he seems really well thought of

Yeh they loved him. Same as leicester fans did.  He's had quite a decent coaching career really

Cant believe he's 60 though
