The Ornstein hate is strange to me, he provides accurate stories consistently. Better than all these journos that just make it up.

He’s gone downhill mate, he’s definitely joined the more rumour side of things especially last summer

In fairness he’s won the club World Cup and was in discussions about taking over from Pep. Think he’s done alright

He’s only lasted 18 months and given the massive size and obscene cost of their squad he’s hardly set the world alight at the level Chelsea should be aiming for.

And the club World Cup isn’t a proper tournament. It’s a farce of a competition.

That club world cup was a farce, only them and PSG took it seriously.

They've looked worse this season than last season in all honesty.

You really think so? Every time I've seen them they've looked much more coherent and much less reliant on Palmer, which is just as well because his form has nose-dived.

I'm not saying Maresca is a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as some folk make out. That said I don't watch Chelsea week in week out like.

Job is toxic. Needs a yes man who never questions the hierarchy - who in turn are basically wall street suits.

They'll never mount to nothing and I'm sure of it

Would Maresca take Palmer back to City with him?

I’d imagine the cost would be fairly prohibitive

Agreed.

Maresca is a competent coach. Nothing spectacular. Not terrible.  A system manager I think he’s blunted Palmer a bit but has pulled off some good results.

Main thing is Chelsea leadership is terrible.  They won’t have sustained success under these lot.  They might fluke a Slot like title here or there but nothing like Roman era.

After the summer, he deserves the hate. A literal mouthpiece for Liverpool, he did his best to help get Isak out. He also quoted indykallia as a source and lost most of his credibility in the process.

I think Isak did that on his own by going on strike.

Ornstein and the pasta peado were definitely on the Liverpool payroll too like.

Ornstein put out that we signed Ekitike to play along side Isak.

Just got to hope with them keep signing players, they don’t luck into something.

Caicedo / James / Palmer is a talented trio, and Esteavo actually looks legit unlike 95% of other Brazilian youngsters. Just they keep signing crap in defence and in goal, so hopefully if they did fluke into something there, it’s then when Palmer is off, James is broken again.

Also this is another LOL for Delap, choosing to go there. Joined us, he could’ve been knocking on England door like every other English player we have (expect Barnes who’s going Scottish).

Maybe the difference is Palmer to last season, you're 100% spot on his form has nosedived in last 12 months.

I genuinely think they are quite awful to watch, I actually thought they bought well in the summer by their standards as well.
