Is that the left back Filipe Luis? Didn't even know he was a coach.

Aye. Haven't Googled it to verify but think he is/was managing in Brazil maybe, possibly Flamengo or Corinthians or someone like that.

My only memory of him is was when he was doing a press conference as a player and as he was talking one of the journos got done playing that porno audio clip in the background. [emoji38]

In an alternative universe, Ashley is still in charge and we've just appointed Clarke as manager and Carroll as assistant manger after going out of the Carling Cup first round following a 4-0 defeat against Blackburn.

Flamengo sacked Felipe Luis the other week, a day after they beat someone 8-0 in a cup semi-final second leg and after winning a stack of trophies in 17 months in charge.

Any manager who values his career, reputation and sanity would avoid that club like the plague this season. I know managers will back themselves to sort out the mess and be the hero but that club seems completely rotten to the core

The problem is they have a hollow core st-opping their team progressing

If only Kulevseski and Maddison didn't get such a Nazi injury it could have been so different

I think that I read somewhere he’d had some talks with BlueCo about possibly joining somewhere in the future. Flamengo didn’t want to give him a new deal for financial reasons so they sacked him saying he’d breached their trust or something like that.
