Big six side relegated? They wouldn’t let that happen surely?!

One down, five to go.  Someone get on the blower and tell Big Don about the cartels over here.

What is the consensus among Spurs fans @leffe186?

Not sure there is one over Tudor tbh.

Generally speaking I think the consensus is that the plan all along has been to get through to Summer with Frank. That until we get a proper DoF it’s Vinai and Lange as the first line decision-makers and they are both out of their depth in that role. That there’s a decent chance they still wanted to stick with him (Lange at least) and that one or more of the Lewis clan said “come the fuck on”.

It’s also not clear that we even had a plan B and it’s hard not to presume that this is a Paratici hire. Whether it was set up before Paratici left or not is unknown.

I think the one consensus is that this is an interim hire to keep us up. Nobody expects him to stay next season, although if we win the Champions League…:bluestar:. There’s a group of fans who think this might be the best possible or least worst option as an interim, and there’s a group of fans who think it’s a terrible decision but don’t actually have a realistic option that’s any better.

The Arsenal game won’t make any difference because he’s just got there, we’re shite, and everyone’s injured. If we somehow get something out of the game I think people will be immediately mollified but even if we get the almost inevitable obliteration it will only be the Press who get excited. It’s almost irrelevant. We have four games against relegation candidates which we cannot afford to lose.

I literally think of this every single time I read his name

One of the great NUFC mysteries: why did they call it "Beyewatch.com" but then butcher the pronunciation of his name, thereby undermining a perfectly serviceable pun?

Not really sure what the point was of sacking Frank for an interim manager tbh. I know Spurs have become something of a joke team this season, but they have suffered a lot of injuries. Will this Tudor guy really make much of a difference?

Also missed the opportunity to bring it back in 2012 with Ca-bayewatch.com
or Ba-watch even

Sounds like Frank had completely lost the team as well as the fans. I think they got to the point where keeping him was more of a risk than getting rid. They clearly wanted to limp through till the Summer but I kinda agree that something had to change.

He might not make much of a difference but I suspect we were at the point when relegation was inevitable with Frank. At that stage you have to roll the dice, really.

The weekend’s probably a write-off and we always lose to Fulham. Ideally we get anything at all from those two games and go into the match against Crystal Palace with a couple of players back from injury. Any less than two points from the next four games (away at Liverpool is the fourth) is bad. Anything more is probably OK.

I understand the thinking, if the team has given up then the board has to rescue the season even with a short term measure. Frank might just be a small club manager, I didn't really follow his career before he became Brentford manager. But I think there's a good chance this Tudor guy would have had the same results with the same players available if he was in charge. Spur look like they have suffered losing a lot of key players to injury.

Sat a row in front of him once, think it was Cardiff. Sliding doors opportunity to murder.

I had a Director's Box ticket for a game against Watford, no searches at the door.

Could have put a hatchet in the back of his head safe in the knowledge that no jury in Newcastle would have convicted me.

One win in 15 for him. Absolutely chucked the towel in.

He brought them the FA Cup in all fairness but his league record isn't all that. 10th and 11th place finishes. Vieira, Hodgson, Pulis and Pardew all had them finishing 10th/11th/12th.
