Sounds like Frank had completely lost the team as well as the fans. I think they got to the point where keeping him was more of a risk than getting rid. They clearly wanted to limp through till the Summer but I kinda agree that something had to change. He might not make much of a difference but I suspect we were at the point when relegation was inevitable with Frank. At that stage you have to roll the dice, really. Ideally we get anything at all from those two games and go into the match against Crystal Palace with a couple of players back from injury. I understand the thinking, if the team has given up then the board has to rescue the season even with a short term measure. Frank might just be a small club manager, I didn't really follow his career before he became Brentford manager. But I think there's a good chance this Tudor guy would have had the same results with the same players available if he was in charge.
