There can't be many people in the middle of that particular venn diagram. Hope he does well there. Edited March 29 by Moose

Moose
I know this list is by no means exhaustive but by God, that is some fucking grim reading for Spurs fans. Only 2 credible, modern day PL managers, one of them has already pied them cause he doesn't fancy a relegation scrap and the other is modern day Sam Allerdyce firefighter. Hopefully the Spurs board go with Harry, the people's choice!
Pilko
I think the logic behind Redknapp is based on MON going back in at Celtic and lifting the malaise with an old fashioned back to basics, slap em on the back and get em fired up, smiles on their faces type short-term boost. Unbelievably, it's as good a shout as any when you look at the likely alternatives which are almost all ridiculous.
andycap
Redknapp for me if I was a spurs fan till end of the season. I said they should've hired him before tudor.
Zero
To be fair IF hotspur can back to doing their basics normally they already can stay up. Doing basic stuff during crisis time is a very underrated accomplishment
Froggy
Redknapp is nearly 80 man.
Doctor Zaius
Redknapp has won 3 out of his last 5 as Soccer Aid manager in all fairness. I do agree that it should be a relatively easy job to keep them up like. At Home to Leeds in a few weeks will be massive. Still Sunderland and Wolves to play too. Think they'll stay up whoever they get.

andycap
They need a short term fix until the end of the season not jumping on de zerbi, his style will probably take a while to implement.

Assume the gamble is they have enough to just scrape over the line giving their now preferred manager more time to assess the squad ready to rebuild in the summer. Kilcline
Sure I've said it before but De Zerbi is the new Roberto Martinez. Absolute bluffer and bullshitter with the added disadvantage versus Martinez that he doesn't even at least seem like he's a decent bloke that you wouldn't mind having a pint with
GeordieDazzler
The thing that stuck with me with De Zerbi was after he took all the adulation for Brightons European qualification was the way he shamelessly blamed the players when the wheels came off the next season. He did similar at Marseille when things went Pete Tong too. Also this stupid shit https://www.beinsports.com/en-us/soccer/ligue-1/articles-video/de-zerbi-reveals-manchester-united-offer-shows-it-to-marseille-players-and-explains-why-he-declined-2024-11-
