Not sure what to think about that - I'm thinking delusion on my mate's part [/famouslastwords] I think it would be hilarious if Man Utd won the CL and Liverpool finished 4th and had to go into the Europa. Haven't they changed the rules now whereby even if a team outside the CL qualifying places in the league wins the CL that whoever in 4th place still qualifies? Other way round isn't it? I'm not 100% certain but I'm sure the rules have changed so that we don't get a repeat of the Chelsea-Spurs situation in 2012? EDIT: or was it that rule change after Liverpool won it in 2005? You could well be right mate, thought the holders were automatic at the expense of the lowest placing league qualifiers but that may have been the one they binned. Not sure myself now.
