Confirmed. Amorim only wants to work with own staff. Big fan of that.

It’s more likely Ratcliffe who can’t afford to pay an extra £5k for a staff member.

Spend £27 million to pay of and appoint a new manager, but can't afford £20k to help the most at need support their team :anguish:

Nice of the whole team to join in ? I guess ?

The alternative is one man is hung out to dry and will be roasted by the media.

Right decision IMO.

Everyone wears the jacket apart from him = media ructions

No-one wears the jacket and no-one grasses to the press = get away with it

No-one wears the jacket and someone grasses to the press = media ructions

At least it'll take the heat off the ticket price rises for a few days

You can sum it up by saying:

Man United = media ructions.

This sort of crap jut makes me feel anti (organised) religion. Not especially keen on the force-feeding of LGBTQ or BLM etc but there are good reasons why it's been so. Give me rainbow laces over religious dictats any day.

Bit of a late post. I watched the final part of the Arsenal - Man U game on Wednesday, and there was footage of Amorim on the bench, face downwards, looking the picture of thoughtful despair. Now he's saying 'We're not one of the best teams in the league' (Well actually, I think you are. You just haven't been playing to your max) and 'we're a massive club but not a massive team'.

This doesn't strike me as the stuff to inspire the troops. More like getting your excuses in early.

When Eddie took over, there were no negative messages.

Remember when Moyes took over Sunderland? When asked what he expected to achieve he said something like:

"The clubs been in constant relegation battles for years so that's what I expect will continue to happen".

I mean he wasn't wrong... 😁

This guy isn't very smart at all.

These are such minor costs in the grand scheme of things and it is killing him PR wise.

I was reading that one of the disagreements Ashworth had with him was centred around reducing the size of staff for certain departments, which Ashworth thought was a bad idea for some of the teams he was overseeing.
