Your standing and history as a club won't attract the top footballers anymore. I'm not even thinking about that right now to be honest. Sociedad were shocking last night and we still couldn't manage to win. We know what Amorim means though in all fairness. He doesn't want these players giving themselves a pat on the back after struggling through a few knockout games to win a trophy when they've been dire all year. It's not a desperation for Amorim specifically to fail, it's a desperation for us as a club to continue failing* *by failing I mean performing poorly in the league but continuing to add silverware.
