I thought it’s pretty obvious at this point, the club culture is rotten to the root, with bunch of entitle fans , they would be in championship without the help of PSR & ref

It is a pressure cooker of expectation and they have players with the heart of a flea. It doesn't matter how good a team is there is always a point in a game where you come under some kind of pressure from the opposition and it seems they capitulate every time that happens. Confidence is low and it ebbs away quickly when they're not on top.

And having a manager sulking around the touchline like an emo teen who’s parents have just told him they didn’t manage to get him tickets for the Fall Out Boy concert won’t help boost the players confidence

It’s beautiful to behold

Routinely spanked, never just blanked.

Consistently rotten, never forgotten.

Spend all the money, never not funny.

Am I doing this right?

I have to admit, getting ribbed about success from Newcastle and Spurs fans is fairly jarring.

Very silly of course, but jarring nonetheless.

Listening to Amorim in the post match. He sounds absolutely clueless.

The man has been gagging for the sack for many months now. Keeps goading the board into “I’m not changing my tactics, if the club want too they need to sack me”.

Mentioned it before, but they’ve spent a lot (and taken losses) on getting rid of a supposedly toxic culture, but longer Amorim stays a new one will be developed. You don’t develop a happy culture when after 30+ prem games you have a 25% win percentage.

Probably could if you was taking over a club that was on a 10% win, but he was taking over a club that was top 6 and expected to be pushing for UCL.

They’re very loyal to managers. There was obviously an adjustment period straight after Sir Alex but I think he rubbed them up the wrong way, similar to Bruce did here (to compound the atrocious football).

I've always been quite harsh on Moyes but that's only because I think he has a low ceiling. He's actually a very effective manager for a middling team without much ambition. Would have been perfect for an owner like Ashley. Very good organiser, his teams work hard, but he just doesn't have the instincts or imagination to build a really top side, he's too firmly rooted in old ideas. A British version of Mourinho.

Froggy I'm sure Liverpool fans acted the same way as you in the 90s when they thought it was just a blip.

You are no doubt the greatest name in football but that's what makes the turn around take so long.

Would you agree it's been going downhill since Fergie left?

I've been defensive of Amorim because of the culture at Man United and the magnitude of transforming that but as time progresses I think back to Eddie Howe and how Howe currently is and how Howe's positivity has tranformed NUFC. Everything he says is positive. It's so subtle at times but it just becomes the culture at the club. Never makes excuses or blames others it's all about what we can do to overcome and do better....How.

Not sure about downhill. Feels disingenuous to say it's been all downhill for us since we've seen more finals and won more trophies in the last 2/3 years alone than most fans are lucky to see in their lifetime.

Steep drop-off from Fergie though obviously, which was inevitable.

If we had spent the money Man Utd have spent since Fergie, we would win the CL, PL, the lot.

Spending that level of money and being happy with the odd carabao cup or FA cup, for a club that claims to be the biggest club in the world is embarrassing.

Wouldn’t have a clue who they go for next as it depends who is calling the shots. If Amorim goes, Berrada should follow with him as it was his go and his decision.

Wilcox get a say, you assume it will be prem based. Glasner and Iraola will be the guys as both have one year deals left. Think for Iraola though, he could and should be next Man City manager, so it depends if Man City have sourced him out already.

You only get one shot at the top club in Prem, so Iraola would be wise to stay away from Man Utd.

Ratcliffe gets to pick the manager, could be another named guy. Tuchel would be a strong contender with an interim up to end of season.

We dominated City yesterday by that metric.

You did and still didn't win with your multi million pound strike force. My point is we didn't play with a striker and dominated games. It's why we didn't win those games. It's not difficult to get your head around Frog.

We didn't dominate yesterday Kenny. And you certainly didn't dominate against Leeds.
