I'm not sure of your age but I'd love to know how Newcastle felt about Keegan, who by all accounts is one of your best ever managers. He was extremely emotional and had outbursts where he lost control of his emotions. I like that side of Amorim.

Whilst on the same day also being delighted that a player you paid £75m for is now leaving and you’re feeling chuffed that you might potentially get £40m back

We obviously want to see Antony go because he's not going to play and it would be dead money otherwise. €25m plus a 50% sell on clause is decent for someone who's been awful. If he has another great season in Spain his value will rise a lot and we'd get a lot more in the future. 

 

I don't think any of us are delighted that Hojlund is going, but I also don't get why people are sliding the fees about to make it seem worse. We didn't pay £75m, we paid £64m, and it's not potentially £40m, it's £43m. It would represent PSR profit.

You’re buying players for fuckloads at prices that would smash transfer records at most others clubs. And they’re awful so you’re selling them for a massive loss after a couple of years 

 

And all this is able to happen without financial consequences because you had a period of extended and unparalleled success over 15 years ago during an era where global interest in the PL was Sky rocketed and clubs were quite rightly allowed to make their own decisions on what they wanted to spend on players

 

Sticks in the craw a bit, not gonna lie

He didn’t win a thing. He blew a 13 point lead because he was unable to adapt his tactics. His poor emotional self - management affected the team’s performance. He made up for tactical shortcomings by buying players. 
he was fucking great. I loved him.  It was a great time to be a Newcastle supporter but he wasn’t successful by any tangible measure. Eddie is orders of magnitude more successful than Keegan and he brought Bournemouth from

nothing to an established premier league team. No
