sempuki
@mohammedali_93: Cabella dispossessed, opposition score, and he gets subbed off. #OM #NUFC Oh dear.
U2
Holy shit French league might be too physical. Maybe drop down an age group or five?

Parky
Both pretty much donkeys if you analyze it. Look at their historical stats for ffs. Low impact, lightweight, flowery nonsense.
Sho Time
Nicollin will be lapping this up, another example to use to deter any of his players coming here if we decide to come in for them.
Disco
I think it's fair to say that Ligue Un has been pretty much exhausted by ourselves and the hoardes of other PL clubs that do their shopping there bar a very small number of players. I agree. 2 very good players (Debuchy, Cabaye), 1 really good player if he can be arsed (Sissoko), 1 the manager could not get the best out of (HBA) - the rest have been shite at best IMO. Edit - to early to say with Thauvin but my money is he will do ok but nothing outstanding.
The College Dropout
Remy would've been another big win.
Dan Gleebals
I was thinking of players we have directly taken from France as opposed to from UK teams but agree.

Low impact, lightweight, flowery nonsense. I don't think Thauvin is too lightweight mind. He seems spot on physically, just needs to do better with the ball at his feet. AyeDubbleYoo
It's far too early to criticise Thauvin, he's barely had a chance.
Parky
His assists are about 1/9 games and goals 2/9. Payet is 1/5 for both. Thauvin will improve of course but we needed it now.
The College Dropout
I was thinking of players we have directly taken from France as opposed to from UK teams but agree. Aye but we where in for him when he was in France and got gazumped. Thauvin is only 22 so could get better naturally.

AyeDubbleYoo
Amazing how quickly signing for Newcastle can destroy a career.
Gallowgate Toon
His 13/14 season is probably the best individual season any of our signings have had abroad. Amazing what's happened to him. Confidence must be absolutely shot to bits.
Sho Time
Poor lad has been well and truly parver'd. He'd probably do a lot better if he lost that giant slug on top of his dish though.
