I'm guessing this is the guy we are going to replace Remy with in the summer? Grenier to replace Cabaye being the (hopeful) plan?...

Bloody hell, I hope that's the plan.

Plan

What's happened to this guy?

Stupid question I know

He still plays for Montpellier and they hate us and we will probably bid for him again at some point but way below his valuation and they will hate us even more.

@GFN_France: Remy Cabella: 'The coach thinks that I can be in a better team, but I think Newcastle could be a good springboard for me.' #MHSC #NUFC

It's a fucking shame our club probably won't pay up for you then.

We're Wigan with a bigger stadium.

Anyone outside of the top 4 (and even sometimes them) are seen as a springboard for certain players, its hardly something that only happens at clubs like Wigan..

Good to see he's still interested anyway.

Sounds like we have a pre contract agreement in place. Still think he will go elsewhere.

It would be good to get him but it would just be a cabaye scenario again tbf, considering our aspirations are 8th is top of our league  :jesuswept:

If we wound up as successful as they are I wouldn't be too disappointed. They seemed to be more of a selling club a few years back, but the Ozil signing seems to have changed that. Imagine us paying that much for a player :)
