Just renewed online. Supposed to be taken out the 15th of every month, but for the amount it says £571. I know that’s the full amount but nowhere did it say how much would be taken out each month and for how long. I know from my season ticket this year that it’s over 10 months, but without that detail in there I hope they haven’t ballsed the ticketing up and are going to just take 1 massive payment from me.

Exact same thing happened to me today so I rang them and they said the 10 payment direct debit schedule will be sent by email later this week

Ok, that’s me reassured a bit. It would be typical NUFC to balls it up though.

I bought mine and my sons and it took me over an hour to get him registered using a different email and then link his account to mine through friends and family which let me renew both tickets, unfortunately the links in the help section send you back to the help section, typical farce Ashleys Newcastle

Sorry man, I was just expecting it to be a chew on and everything to go wrong.

I created the new account a while ago, but went to link to my old one recently and it won't give me the option. Anyone else had this issue? Or anyone know if I'll still be able to renew the season ticket?

Got an owner who has no interest in investing in the club, pays nothing towards the advertisement of his shit cheap store, hikes the price up of the club as he has no intention to sell and will ensure that the manager will pack his bags next summer (unless a club comes in willing to pay the settlement fee - possibility once Rafa expresses his frustration yet again at how the club is run) and now the fucker hikes up the prices despite showing no ambition whatsoever in allowing the club to progress. Same thing is happening year on year and he gets away with it time and time again. As Shearer said just a few weeks ago same thing just copy and paste - the bloke really is a total cunt of the highest order.

I'm having to make the decision to let mine go sadly. It's just too expensive and that's me priced out. On the plus side, for anyone with a spare £628 for 19 games of football I'll be freeing up a superb seat in the Strawberry Corner.

£33 a game man. Its fucking awful to watch. Might well ditch my second ST.

It's too much for me. Matchday prices will be astronomical as well so I doubt I'll get to many games next season. It's a pity as I've been going since the early 80s and I've had a season ticket for 27 of the last 28 years but it's too expensive for me now.

As I said I'm freeing up a cracking seat for somebody else.

Probably two ways to look at it.

Premier League football like a lot of other over hyped sporting occasions, concerts etc has become very expensive whether you watch it live or pay some broadcaster. It's a real shame when it pushes some people over the edge and they no longer find it affordable.

That said, while this hike in prices is not good news, watching Newcastle is still pretty good value compared to most other Premier League teams and concerts etc.

You didn't have to be a marketing expert to realise that after a season of selling out almost every match easily, and being the only PL club in the region, that they'd try on a price increase. Having held prices for a while and offered all kinds of longer term deals also meant that when they did go up it would hurt.

I don't even know what deal I originally agreed to but it's meant no increases and I have a good seat which I doubt I'd find for less at any other PL ground.

To anyone this pushes over the edge I'd seriously recommend getting into the local non league scene, some brilliant little grounds and great atmospheres always with a canny bar right next to the pitch.

And of course there is a local lower league team who are virtually giving season tickets away if anyone fancies that  ;)

Absolutely disgraceful rise in prices. Who gives a fuck what other asshole clubs in this soulless league charge? The club have done absolutely fuck all to justify this. When you consider it to the price of football elsewhere on the continent it's pathetic value. We don't even have the right to stand and watch our team play without getting asked to leave, complete BS.

I could stomach it, just, if we had already signed a number of players and Rafa had signed a new contract, but it is inevitably going to be the same load of mediocrity and lies from the hierarchy who constantly seek to undermine and humiliate who should essentially be our greatest/most successful ever manager.

Fuck the lot of them and the whole Premier League nonsense. The game has been stolen from the working class and is turning into the NFL with its prices and commercialism.

I’d happily pay top dollar to watch my team if we had a good team and the football was good to boot, but fuck me that is a scanderlous price increase given what’s on offer Rafa or no Rafa.

Shocking increasesreally. There was an argument that our tickets have been cheap for a while and hardly increased, which may be true, but given the complete lack of ambition, relegations how cheapened the whole atchday experience has become or rather feels, it’s a blatant piss take to suddenly start asking for an extra 100 quid in some cases. There is no justification whatsoever for the increase. Still fans will fork out and the stadium will be sold out regardless.

The sad thing is, show some ambition and sign some top players and basically get with the fucking PL programme and they can charge more and get more money.

No mention of the price increase on NUFC.com just information on how to renew, I think that's very poor form for a site dedicated to giving fans an independent view.

Were our tickets really that cheap (outwith the family enclosure) though? I paid £520 last season in the Gallowgate. A couple of my friends in the East Stand were paying £730 And a lad I work with who sits in the Milburn pays over £800.

I'd be surprised if, after Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd and possibly Liverpool we're not the next most expensive. Always found the Mike Ashley cheap tickets to fill the stadium model to be a bit of a myth unless you want to sit in Level 7.
